Elizabeth's P.O.V

After playing with his blonde locks, I fixed it where it would look normal and not messy. Before stepping away, I brushed my hand through his hair, feeling the softness it had become. I stepped back to my desk, glancing at Meliodas' smirk.

Meliodas: You can fix my hair more often if you want~.

I blushed and nervously waved my hand back and forth.

Elizabeth: I was just helping you, Sir Meliodas!

I wearily gazed at Meliodas to see him now paying attention to the teacher who was currently walking in. He greeted us, after the bell rang then began to teach us the functions of the body systems. Like history, I wasn't as great at science either, but I did like learning about animals. After a pretty tiring class, Meliodas and I walked to history.

Elizabeth: Sir Meliodas?

Meliodas: Hm?

I sadly smiled and looked away from his eyes to the ground.

Elizabeth: Have you ever thought of getting a girlfriend?

Meliodas: I already have a bunch of girlfriends.

I stared at Meliodas in shock, wondering if he said was really true. If it was, how did I not know? I could see him smirking at me as I still gaped at him.

Meliodas: I mean, most of my friends are girls anyway. Girl-friends.

I pouted and turned to Meliodas seriously, making him glance at me in surprise.

Elizabeth: Like, someone who you would love! As more than just a friend...

Meliodas: Elizabe-

Ban: Hey, you guys!

I turned to see Ban, who had his usual curious smirk plastered on his face. He gazed us over, looking back in forth, from me to Meliodas.

Ban: Was I interrupting something?

Elizabeth: N-No Ban! Promise. We should go to class now!

With that, I rushed away to history, leaving the two boys behind. I didn't watch where I was going, which caused me to bump into someone by accident.

Elizabeth: Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry!

I rushed to stand up and help the person who had fallen along with me. I realized this was a girl, and one who was familiar.

Guila: Oh hello, Elizabeth.

She took my hand and I brought her to her feet.

Elizabeth: I'm so sorry, Guila! It will never happen again.

Guila: Hey, it's alright, Elizabeth. What class are you going to?

Elizabeth: History.

Guila: Same as Meliodas, Ban, and Merlin.

Elizabeth: Y-Yep.

She swiftly turned on her heel so I can only see her dark black hair.

Guila: Elizabeth, do you like Meliodas?

I stepped back in surprise while becoming flustered. I took a deep breath, but then jumped to hear the sound of someone walking up behind me.

???: Yes, she does.

Elizabeth: Eh!?

I could see Guila turn around, confused to the different voice. I looked over my left shoulder to see a familiar pink haired boy with his same straight face.

Elizabeth: G-Gowther!?

Guila turned her head, questioningly as Gowther did his usual pose.

Gowther: The heart rate from Elizabeth, can prove that she had a bit of jealousy from the time you and Meliodas stayed after school, because of a locker being lost.

Elizabeth: Gowther, stop!

Guila: I see.

I turned to Guila, hoping she would understand, but also half expecting for her to yell at me. Though, she only smiled knowingly.

Guila: Meliodas is pretty cute.

I puffed out my cheeks, feeling the jealousy bubbling inside me.

Guila: Though, I'll stay away.

Elizabeth: Please don't, I'll feel bad!

Guila: It's fine really. I don't like him like that.

Elizabeth: Huh?

I heard a small chuckle come from her as she smiled sweetly.

Guila: Meliodas is a really good friend of mine, because he used to look after Zeal for me. Plus, I get so embarrassed when I have to ask someone for help, so the only person I knew from school that'll help me was Meliodas.

Blush started to take over my face as stepped back again.

Elizabeth: I-I feel s-so stupid...

Guila: Don't. It's fine, I do feel kind of clingy when I'm with him, since he's the only person I know since I came here.

Elizabeth: I'm so sorry!

Guila: It's fine! I'll see you later. By the way...

I looked up at her, embarrassed.

Guila: I totally support the Melizabeth fandom.

With that, she left with a wink as she walked away. I literally looked like a human tomato based on my face. I pushed Gowther away as I continued to walk to history.

When I got there, I saw Merlin and Ban seating in their usual seats. Though, I couldn't see Meliodas anywhere. I gave Ban a questioning look, but he just smirked and shrugged. I turn to see Merlin, and she just smiled and looked the other way. As I was about to take a step towards my seat, I felt two arms wrap around me.

???: Don't run off again.

I felt chills go up and down my body as I realized who it was.

Elizabeth: S-Sir Meliodas..?

His grip became tighter.

Meliodas: I was so worried... you were headed this way, but then I didn't see you when I got here. Are you hurt? Is there someone I need to hurt?

Elizabeth: Sir Meliodas, are you ok? I'm fine, you don't need to hurt anyone. I'm sorry I ran off like that.

Meliodas: ...

Merlin: Ahem... the classroom is staring at you two, so I advise you to come take your seats.

Snapping back into reality, I looked around to see everyone staring at us, and that caused my face to just get redder. I soon felt lighter as Meliodas stood in front of me smiling, going back to normal. He grabbed my hand and led me to our seats. I was a little confused of what just happened. He seemed different, and a bit angry. Well, not a bit.

As we sat down, I glanced at Meliodas to see him in his relaxed sitting position. Ban was chuckling as Meliodas was about to punch him from his teasing. Merlin just sighed as she got closer to me.

Merlin: Y'know, Meliodas really cares about you. Best not make him worried, or he'll do more than that.

I blushed and wondered worriedly. Why did Meliodas have so much wrath when he got worried about me?
