Prince Magnus Milton heard a knock, blackness was spread in his vision but he quickly squeezed his eyes and forced it to open. The door opened and the same footsteps could be heard like every morning which was like an alarm clock to him. Magnus grumbled and sat up fixing his eyesight.

'Your Highness, it's time to get ready,' the servant said. He always repeated the same words every morning and it made Magnus wonder if he did it intentionally to annoy him or was it part of his job. Magnus scratched his head and his ear. He sat there and raked his messy hair from his eyes. Another boring and usual day to come, he sighed and peeled the blanket of his hairy legs.

Slowly someone else behind him came in view as Magnus blinked to get a clear view.

'Ren!' whispered Magnus louder than he expected and stood on his feet. He was slightly embarrassed by the way he looked but the majority of his feelings got filled with happiness. 'You made my day.'

Ren smiled.

'Magnus, I was thinking that we could go towards the market because today the Stella is shining and the weather is better than any day,' Ren blabbered with a smirk. Magnus understood him. Obviously, he wanted them to go to the Eurian market and slowly drift off to mountains with their horses; it was the most peaceful place ever. Near mountains lived dragons which they would fly, they would sword fight together and then laugh and sit near the fire until the night pours in.

'The weather is always good and the Stella is always shinning but it won't be if Prince goes with you and if you don't stop calling him by his name,' a guttural voice said from behind the door. Magnus looked and saw that it was his dad. He saw Ren, who hurriedly turned and bowed.

'I am really sorry King 'Xander,' Ren said and Magnus noticed that he had bit his tongue.

'Prince Magnus, if you don't remember then, I must remind you that we have a meeting to attend.' he said ignoring Ren's apology, maybe because he knew that no matter what, Magnus will again force Ren to call him by his name. The inside of Magnus turned. The sleepiness returned to him. He was going to be with his friend not in a boring meeting where there was never a conclusion about something. No, he was not going to go, no matter what.

'Dad, please you know that the meeting can continue without me. Then, let me be with Ren as Ren doesn't come here, every day,' Magnus pleaded walking towards his dad. There was complete silence and Magnus knew he had persuaded his dad, he knew how much his dad loved him. Magnus bit his lower lip to hide the smile of victory. 'Xander snorted.

'Very well,' he replied and turned before he could admit his defeat or maybe he was in a hurry.

Magnus looked at Ren who stood there.

'Now, let me get ready.'

Ren walked out of his room and Magnus went towards his wardrobe- which wasn't exactly a wardrobe but an average room that was filled with clothes. He threw water on his face and stuffed brush in his mouth and spattered in the sink. He slipped his dark red t-shirt over his arms and pulled his grey pant up.

He came outside, where he saw Ren waiting impatiently. They together walked outside and their two horses were ready. His father must have told the servants to get his and Ren's horses outside. Magnus came near the white horse and patted him on his head going from the top and touching the bridles of the horse along. Ren went near the brown horse which Magnus had gifted him a while ago.

The servants placed a stair in front of the horse and Magnus stepped on it and went up. He swung his other foot on the other side of the smooth saddle and placed his foot on the stirrups. He slapped the rein and kicked it in the canter. Slowly the horse made movements and Magnus's body started to bounce slightly, with each step of the horse. He gradually increased the speed and was delighted when Ren did too. Slowly, the city came into view. The city's pathway was designed with cobblestone as people marched and went on with their daily lives. Magnus could see the top of the roof of the stalls that were next to the pathway. As far as he could see most of the things were made of different types of wood. People worked and bought things. People argued on how a specific thing was really expensive.
