Limuca’s POV
I watched in horror as Blaze was assaulted from all sides by the Imp battle-Mechs. The two FAE soldiers next to Blaze fought valiantly, but in the end, all was lost as both were cut down, leaving Blaze to face the Robots by himself.
“Well it seems that your boyfriend will die soon,” said Cre^dus with an evil smirk on his face.
I didn’t say anything, but rather continued to watch the holo-projection, as Blaze ran out of ammo and was forced to fight with Fire Blade. Blaze was being pressed into the embankment - and looked like he was about to be defeated - when one of the Mechs exploded violently.
Cre^dus’ smile disappeared as a second mech was blown to bits. That’s when seven more figures appeared, their weapons blazing.
“It looks like he lives to fight another day,” I stated, irritating Cre^dus.
A hand struck my face, causing my nose to bleed. Cre^dus had a sneer on his face.
“He will die,” said Cre^dus, “That much I can assure you.”
It didn’t matter what Cre^dus thought though, because I knew that Blaze was immortal, and so couldn’t die. I watched as Blaze and his new companions made their way back to where the group had first come from.

Blaze’s POV
I ran alongside Monster, reloading my AMG and LMG as we ran towards the AOG compound. The Imps hadn’t taken kindly to us destroying three of their Battle-Mechs, and so had started to hunt us down.
Three of the Devils had fallen because of snipers, and two more were killed when I had triggered a trap. That left only two other Devils besides myself. As we exited the forest, we sprinted towards the compound, the last two remaining Devils running to cover us as we ran.
They stopped and joined us, running with their backs turned to the compound. We were almost to the compound and the relative safety that it provided, when a mortar round landed in the middle of our group.
I was thrown from my feet, as Monster and the two Devils were thrown in to the ground. I heard a sicken crunch come from the two Devils. I got up slowly, but dropped back down as a sniper tried to shoot me.
I turned around and spread the forest edge with bullets from my LMG. I then got up and sprinted into the compound, only realising that Monster was behind me when the Hungarian threw me to the ground, as another sniper sent a bullet in my direction.
“All the Devils, dead,” said Satan, as he appeared beside my head. “They all died, and we couldn’t do anything about.”
I knew that the A.I. was using the royal ‘we’, trying to make me feel bad for the deaths of the people that the A.I. had known for a good proportion of its life. While Marines ran towards the compound’s perimeter, I walked towards where Satan had said Price was.
Price had her helmet sitting on a table next to her, as I walked into the room. She only glanced up for a moment, before returning her attention to a holo-projection of the compound and the surrounding landscape. Suddenly a report came in from one of the Marines that were patrolling the perimeter.
