"I'm so so sorry Harry. I'm a horrible person." She said holding me tightly and crying.
I sighed and rubbed her back not saying anything. She looked up at me and then looked away.
"How long did you know?" I asked.
She wiped her tears away. "For two months now."
"Why did you keep insisting a divorce then? You really wanted a family and it was happening."
She sighed. "Because I'm tired of it. I want you to leave your drugs and alcohol. Focus on me. Focus on us. Become a better you."
"I told you I've stopped." I said. "I've been stressed. Hints why I've been on that crap."
"Look Harry," She said and held my hand. For once in a long time. "I didn't want to say anything because I was unsure about us."
"You clearly see me trying so damn hard and you say this?" I said a little frustrated.
"You're not showing me you want this."
"Madison what's wrong with you? You can't tell that I love you? That I'm trying to make this relationship work?" I said.
"Change completely. Then come back." She said.
I let go of her and ran my hand through my hair. "I cant believe you. We just lost a baby, our baby that I didn't even know about. I'm trying so damn hard to make this work. I'm doing the most for us and you tell me this shit? Open your eyes Madison."
"If you came here to fight then go Harry." She said.
I gave her a confused look. "Fight? I came to be here for you. This is a hard moment. I care about you."Well I don't want you to be here with me. So go, I still need you to sign those papers for me. Soon Harry. I'm done waiting."
I stood up and walked around the room. This girl gives me the biggest headache. "Why do you want to end this so quick?"
"I regret marrying you." She said.
My heart sank.
"I love you Madison." I said.
She looked at me. "Sign the papers."
