One Month Before:
"Cogman, what day is it?" I was almost dozing off in my chair, a fresh plate of eggs and bacon resting on the table in front of me, courtesy of the wonderful butler. "December first, my lady."

As soon as I heard him, I was jumping from my chair, scaring both Sam and Cade in the process. "It's CHRISTMAS?!" Bee, upon hearing my loud shout, came barreling in from the backyard, his holoform alarmed and unkempt. "It's what?!"

There was a loud bang from outside, the castle floor shaking for a moment. Bulldog, bless his old spark, had accidentally shot a missile, fearing we were under attack. "For god sake-" Cogman stormed towards the exit of the castle, his neck flaring in response.

"Cogman, please be gentle!" Bee stepped aside, fearing the smaller robot's wrath. Sam and Cade, recovering from their sudden shock, sighed amongst themselves. "Rose, you're not decorating this castle. It's too big, and it'd take way too much time to take it down afterwards."

Fuck that. I'm so decorating this place. "Oh come on guys, we have two capable Transformers on our side. They can do the outside, we can decorate the inside!" Bee, being the considerate cutie he was, strolled over to me with a bright smile on his holoform's face.

"I almost forgot about Christmas!" He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead, a peaceful morning greeting. "Do you want to go out to town later on so we can pick up some decorations?" I nodded rapidly, grinning. "Yes please! I get to pick the tree!!"

Three Weeks Before:
"Alright, did you find a good tree?" Sam, Cade, Izabella and Jimmy had pitched in to decorate the interior of the castle in Christmas colours, but it had taken a while to find a real pine tree that fit in our main lounge.

After nearly a week, Cogman finally came across a grower who had a pine tree that had the right dimensions to fit in the room. Cade and Hot Rod went out earlier to pick it up. "I think so. Cade sent me a picture, and it's beautiful."

Just a few minutes later, the Lamborghini returned with Cade and a giant tree tied to his roof. "Yes! We can finally decorate the tree!" I was about to offer my help in carrying the tree inside, but Bee held out a hand.

"Nuh uh. That tree is way too heavy, even for you and Cade." Hot Rod engaged his holoform, and before I could complain, the two cut the trees ropes, carrying it through the front entrance with ease. Sam had all the decorations and lights set up in the lounge, awaiting the tree.

"C'mon c'mon- Hurry up!!" I was rushing Cogman to get the base of the tree set up so I could start decorating. Bee and Hot Rod were mumbling profanity under their breath since the both of them were carrying the gigantic tree, forced to wait. "Don't rush me," Cogman muttered, but the base of the tree was soon set up with a good amount of water to keep the tree fresh.

Bee and Hot Rod both let out loud groans as they put the tree up, finally giving their muscles a rest. I took a moment to admire the tree, which really was perfect. "Thank you, honey," I made sure to give Bee a quick kiss as thanks before I started on the battery powered fairy lights.

Afterwards, it was baubles and other adorable decorations. I mainly did the decorating, but Sam helped me here and there. Bee and Cade were content to just watch as I excitedly decorated the tree.

Eventually I had to get a ladder in order to decorate all the way to the top, and at last, I placed the huge sparkly star on top of the tree, completing it in all its glory.
