Dear Reader,
If you have read up to this point, thanks but I don’t know how to say this. I have never been a fan of the wrap-ups in movies. It just seems rushed and I honestly can’t stand it. However, I can’t seem to find a better way to end my story.
So after the principal caught me and Andrew in the hallway, we were taken down to the principal’s office. As a result, Andrew got three weeks of detention and I got expelled. Probably because I had some choice words for the principal when she started lecturing us. So, yeah I got expelled a month into the school year. Seems like unfair punishment but I say it was worth it. Up until Andrew’s dad picked him up and told him to never speak to me again. And yes, he said that to him with me standing there.
There was an upside though, they called my dad instead of my step-mom. We went straight home and I guess Brooke wasn’t expecting us because she already had, uh, company over. My dad filed for divorce and kicked Brooke and her biological daughters to the curb.
I guess he wasn’t too upset with my expulsion after that. Mainly because I told him about how they treated me. He just nodded and said he was sorry. But I can’t say I can blame him or anyone for that matter. Even Snow.
So, I guess these stories always have some kind of lesson. Am I right? I don’t know if there is a major lesson to be learned but I can think of a few. Friends aren’t always who they seem. Being mean to a bully never pays. Don’t cheat. But those are so stereotypical...pounded into our heads by EVERYONE. But we already understand those lessons. So I don’t want to be another person that does that.
Maybe there isn’t a lesson, maybe there is. I don’t really know. I’m just a teenager and from what I’ve read you don’t know the lesson until you’re older. That’s life. However, I don’t think life is a fairy tale. We can dress it up to be like one, kind of like how my friends and I use princess names instead of our own (sorry to people who thought it was our real names). But in the end, life isn’t always a fairy tale. It’s just life. And I wouldn’t have it any other way- probably.
Thanks for listening er...reading my story,
