Here's the official marking scheme of Everlast Awards 2019.
Please ensure that you understand the marking of each category, otherwise, any help needed, you can ask us here or through PM.

TITLE [5 Points]

Is the title catchy and unique OR plain and cliche?

COVER [10 Points]

Is the cover pleasing to the eye and has admirable work done on it OR is simply not understandable and plain?

BLURB/DESCRIPTION [10 Points]

Does the blurb excites you as a reader and want you to read ahead OR needs work to properly demonstrate properly?

GRAMMAR [10 Points]

Is the grammar readable, great and fluent OR lacks proper usage of tenses and practice?

PLOT [20 Points]

Does the plot seem entertaining, new, a twist on the old and intriguing OR is clichéd, predictable and bland?

TEXT AND STYLE [5 Points]

Is the texting style good and paragraphing maintained well OR needs work on cases (e.g. upper case & lower case) and sentence styling?

CHARACTERS [10 Points]

Are the characters relatable and raises various emotions within you OR not quite showcased properly?

FLOW AND DEVELOPMENT [20 Points]

Does the story follow the sync of development properly and is understood thoroughly OR haphazard placement of development and unable to find proper flow?

ENJOYMENT [10 Points]

Was the story enjoyable and something you would re read OR lost interest halfway and has chances to improve?

TOTAL - 100 Points

After marking the story, judges you have to write a short REVIEW on the book emphasizing on what you think was great and what needs more work.

Review - This book had great grammar and the title seemed really catchy to read. I would have loved if the texting was a little better and characters more engaging. But overall, it had great development and plot, so a great work by the author!
