If you think you're very unfortunate for not being able to buy the latest, branded clothes that you want or the most expensive shoes out there, the boy you're about to meet will make you feel grateful that you at least have some decent clothes to wear and a roof above your head that don't have leaks in every corner.

Bradley Will Simpson a.k.a the boy who dreamed for a better life. He didn't know how it all happened, because when he was born, it just....happened. Until now, it's still happening.

'What's happening?' you may ask. Well, what's happening is poverty.

Brad Simpson was born and raised in a very poor family. When his parents found out they were expecting another child (which is the boy), his parents thought it would make sense to move to a slightly larger home. After his parents bought their house, most of their money was gone. His father was fired from teaching because the school didn't have enough funds to pay for everyone, so they had to let go of some staff, Mr. Simpson was one of them. His mother is a housewife and had always been ever since his older sister was born. His older sister is only 4 years older than him, so there was nothing she could do at the time. What did you expect from a 4 year old?

They only had little left and the money that's left is enough for at least three more years. His older sister had to stop schooling so that their money could be saved and be used for more important things. As for the boy, he never went to school. His father used to be a teacher, so learning would not be a problem for little Bradley and his sister. It was free and they all get to be together.

Despite of this unfortunate way of living, Brad was happy. Until his rich uncle hired him as a butler at their mansion when he turned 12. It was a young age to work and also probably illegal, but his rich uncle's family promised to pay him a hundred pounds for every chore he did. He wanted his family to have the best life (even though they have little) and he did EVERYTHING just to achieve that.

I know you're probably asking, 'if his uncle is rich, why didn't he help them instead?'. His uncle is very selfish and he hated the poor people. He thought they were lazy for not doing anything to make themselves rich. So when he found out that all their money was nearly gone, he didn't treat them like family anymore.

Sadly, Bradley's mother was diagnosed with cancer. He worked harder so that they have money to suffice for their needs and his mother's treatments.

If you're expecting for something happy in Brad's life, this isn't it.

After all his hard work, it still wasn't enough and his mother passed away. It was tough on him, because he and his mother were always close. Who could blame him? He's just a 12 year old boy who's working for his family. His father had to be strong for him and his sister. Ultimately, he's all they've got left.

No company wanted to hire his father, so Mr. Simpson just cleans people's houses around the neighborhood every weekend when he's not teaching Bradley's older sister. To help Bradley and her father, Natalie (Brad's older sister), applied for a job at a club nearby. Her job is...well, let's just say it wasn't the best decision, but it pays well.

"Brad! Change in your butler's outfit now. The guests will arrive soon and I'm sure they don't want to see a pathetic boy dressed in rags. Hurry up!" Brad's rich uncle yells before going to the kitchen to do some taste testing.

The now 18 year old Bradley has been working for his rich uncle for six years now. He misses his family dearly and he wants to go home. Unfortunately, he couldn't go home because he's saving up for his dream house. Living with his rich uncle and getting to work in a mansion really did impact him. He wanted the same thing too or maybe much more than what his uncle has. That's the dream anyway.

"This is so fucking tiring." Brad sighs as he mops the floor. The party was over two hours ago and he was the only one assigned to clean up.

Just as he was mopping, he had an idea.

Whilst everyone is sound asleep and the night is quiet, Brad sneakily goes to the safe room and unlocks his uncle's safe where he keeps his 'emergency' money as he calls it. Fortunately for Brad, he knew the code, because he saw his rich uncle getting money from there before flying to Vegas just to gamble.

0-4-1-9

He types in the code and opens the safe to find a massive amount of money. There must've been millions! Brad quickly stuffs everything he could fit in a duffel bag. He stops for a second to think about his father and sister. He looks around and sees an old little satchel that hasn't been used for years. He grabs it and stuffs a couple of thousands in it for his father and sister to get by the next few months or maybe even a year or two.

He looks back at the money in the safe and says, "It's quite obvious that almost half of it is gone, but he has money everywhere anyway and he probably won't know the difference."

He locks the safe and grabs his duffel bag and satchel. He locks the door of the safe room and goes to his room which is the basement. He stuffs his (very few) clothes and undergarments in his duffel bag and the money he earned upon working at the mansion. He put 1/3 of his earnings in the satchel to make sure that his father didn't have to clean houses anymore. Brad's father isn't getting any younger, so he needs to stay home and relax. After packing his things, he left the mansion for good and start running back to his house.

He climbs up the window that leads to his room and goes downstairs to the living room to leave the satchel there. Brad looks around for any paper and finds a sticky note pad. He takes one, sticks it on the front of the satchel, grabs a pen and writes:

Hey dad & sis!

This is for you. It's the money I earned from working at the mansion. Don't worry about me, I saved some for myself. I love you both with all my heart.

-Brad xx

Yes, he lied a bit in his note, but at least there's some truth in it. He didn't want them to worry about him, because he can handle himself already.

Just like that, he locks the house and leaves not knowing where to go. He couldn't stay with his father and sister, because they'd ask him why he isn't working anymore. Instead, he chose to run away.

He walks around and sees a sandwich shop. He bought himself a chicken sandwich (his favorite) and goes to the train station to sit down and relax and eat his favorite sandwich.

That's when he finds himself sitting next to a girl with Y/H/C hair and her two suitcases and backpack.

Both of them not knowing where to go.

Both of them not knowing how the other ended up at the train station.

But one thing's for sure; they're in for one hell of a ride.
