The four tiredly went to the train station to buy a ticket and patiently wait for their train. Blake left as soon as he and Y/N had their closure. He figured he wasn't needed in Manchester anymore. After all, what would he do there?*
The ride back home is quietly comfortable with the rain lightly pouring, Y/N falling asleep on Brad's shoulder, Brad holding her hand and rubbing circles on it, Reece looking out the window with headphones on as if he's on his own music video, and George reading a book peacefully.
After some time, they finally arrive at Birmingham. Brad gently wakes Y/N up with a kiss on the cheek and she flutters her eyes open and smiles when she sees Brad, her boyfriend.
They made things clear the night they went on a date. Eventually, he asked her to be his girlfriend and she happily said yes. Brad seemed nervous about this, because he's never been in a relationship before. She promised to help him through it, though.
All four of them got their things and step out of the train.
"So, this is it. It was nice meeting you, Bradley! I genuinely hope to see you again." Reece smiles and hugs Brad.
"I hope to see you again too!" Brad smiles as he hugs back. They both pull away and smile at each other.
"Brad, you can call or text me anytime. You have my phone number, right? If you need anything, just tell me." George says before pulling him into a bone-crushing hug.
"I will!" Brad says, "I can't breathe, mate."
"Oh. I'm sorry." George says shyly before pulling away.
"Text me when you get to your house, okay? I'd love to meet your dad and sister." Y/N smiles.
"You'll meet them soon." Brad grins and pulls her into a loving hug. He's never loved anyone before and he feels great. They pull away after a minute and just look at each other.
"Take a picture. It'll last longer." George says while he and Reece chuckle.
"Well, goodbye!" Brad says to the three. They all smile and say goodbye too before they went their separate ways.
Brad looks back to see his friends and he sees Y/N and George walking together and Reece walking on a different direction on his own. Brad sighs happily, because of the people that he met that became his new friends.
It's not about how long you've been friends with the person. It's about who stayed when you needed them most.
