"Dear Lord, please give me the courage to face Brad today. I've decided to tell him about his dad today, because he deserves to know what's happening to his family. I hope he won't be mad at me although I'd understand if he were. Thank you, Lord. Amen." George prays before leaving his hotel room to go to Brad's hotel room. He knocks on Brad's door and bites his nails anxiously.

Brad opens the door and smiles when he sees George. "Good morning, G! I hope you don't mind me calling you that. It's shorter than calling you 'George'." Brad chuckles.

"Um, yeah. I don't mind. I need to talk to you...privately." George says.

"Oh. Okay. In here or somewhere else?" Brad asks.

"Somewhere else is good. We can have breakfast or something, I don't know." George shrugs.

"Okay. let me tell Y/N that I'm going out with you." Brad smiles before telling Y/N that he'll be out with George.

The two boys ended up at a cafe near the hotel. George figured that he'll tell Brad after breakfast, because it would be pretty awkward if he tells Brad before breakfast...the whole mood would be ruined whilst eating.

After awhile of talking about random things and eating breakfast, the boys are full and about to pay the bill.

"Um, before we pay the bill, I've something to tell you." George says, biting his lip.

"Okay. What is it?" Brad asks.

"It's about your father." George sighs.

"What's wrong?" Brad asks in worry. He's never heard from his family for days now. He misses them very much.

"Your father has cancer. I wanted to tell you right away; I really did. It's just that I didn't know how to tell you." George frowns.

"How did you know?" Brad asks him with tears in his eyes.

"Remember when you sent me to your house? Your sister told me everything. I'm sorry I didn't tell you as soon as I found out." George apologizes.

"Hey, what's important is that you told me." Brad smiles a bit.

"You're always welcome." George smiles.

They split the bill in half and go back to the hotel.
