Sameeksha avoided Abhishek for at least a couple of days.
Abhishek decided to apologize, it was 11pm and he waited for her to come from her duty.
He switched on the tv and fell asleep while waiting for her.
Sameeksha reached home after 2am. Exhausted, she was about to go to her bedroom when she looked at Abhishek sleeping on the couch.
She sighed and brought a blanket. She switched off the tv and put the blanket on him.
The next morning, Abhishek woke up when Kabir disturbed his sleep.
"Aap yaha kyu soe ho?" Kabir asked, "tumhari Choti Mumma kaha hai?" Abhishek asked rubbing his eyes.
"Woh to kaam pe chali geyi" He replied, "chali geyi? Ghar kab aai thi??" Abhishek asked confused. Bandana came, "Raat ko 2 bje ke aas pass aai thi. Koi evidence mila tha murder case pe to uspe hi kaam kar rhi thi. Subhah bhi jaldi chali geyi" she said.
Abhishek looked at his watch, "7 bje hai, isse jaldi bhi hota hai?" He asked, she made a poker face.
"Kabir, chalo school chod aau tumhe" Bandana said, "me chod aata hu" Manjot said, "tumhari protection ke lie tum yaha pade hue ho, aur tumhe bahar khule me ghoomna hai?" She asked.
"To tum saath aa jaao" He said, she rolled her eyes, "baat to vahi aa geyi na" She said.
"Hame training pe bhi jaana hai aaj" Abhishek said, "lo, ek aur drama" Bandana said shaking her head.
"Jaldi ready ho jaao dono. Pehle Kabir ko school chodungi, fir tum dono ke saath training pe jaungi" She said. Everyone agreed with the plan and went to get ready.
Bandana did Kabir's hair and left. When she reached the car, she found Manjot sitting in her car on driver's seat.
"Kabir" She said, he looked up, "iss ghatiya insaan me tumhe kya accha dikhta hai?" She asked, Kabir chuckled.
Bandana sat on front passenger's seat and Abhishek and Kabir sat at the back.
"Gaane-vaane nhi chalte tumhari car me?" Manjot asked when they stopped at a junction, "sharafat se gaadi chalao" She said.
"Yaar tum itna jalti kyu ho mujhse? Hamesha chidhi rehti ho, matlab sada hua muh leke kya milega? Insaan ko thoda khush..." He moved his gaze from the traffic lights to Bandana.
She was staring at him with anger in her eyes, he knew he shouldn't have said that.
He gulped his saliva and looked at the lights, which were green by now.
They reached Kabir's school, Manjot and Bandana got out of the car and as usual, Bandana told Kabir to behave like a good boy.
"Champ" Manjot said, "yeh le" He gave him a bar of chocolate. "Thank you!!" He said placing a kiss on Manjot's cheek.
They sat in the car and Kabir went to his friends.
"Arey Kabir" Rahul, his classmate called him, "tere Papa kyu nhi aate kabhi? Hamesha teri Mummy school chodne aati hai" He asked, "tujhe nhi pata? Iske Papa nhi hai" Rahul's friend said.
"Mujhe meri mummy ne bataya ke jiske papa nhi hote woh najayaz hota hai" Rahul said, Kabir was about to cry, but with the help of his friend, he managed to leave.

In the evening, Bandana was helping Kabir in his homework. Manjot was sitting infront of her, doing something on his phone.
"Kabir, kya baat hai? Dhyaan kaha hai tumhara aaj?" Bandana asked tired, Kabir's focus was not on his homework, and that was very unusual.
Manjot didn't look up, but was listen to what Bandana said.
"Mumma" Kabir decided to tell her what was in his mind, "me najayaz hu?" He asked. Bandana was taken aback by what her son said.
Manjot immediately looked up at Kabir and then at Bandana. He knew Bandana was hurt, anyone would be.
"Kabir" He said, "achanak yeh baat tumhare dimaag me kaha se aai?" Bandana finally spoke.
"Mujhe Rahul ne kaha jiske Papa nhi hote woh najayaz hota hai" He replied, tears started falling from Bandana's eyes.
"Matlab me najayaz hu?" He asked again, "Kabir stop it!!" She said crying even more.
"No! Aap hamesha chup karaa deti ho. Aaj mujhe jan'na hai mere Papa kon hai aur kaha hai. Sab school me chidhate hai ke mere Papa nhi hai" He shouted.
Manjot had enough, "Kabir, ese baat karte hai Mumma se?" He asked raising his voice, Kabir lowered his lashes.
Bandana stood up and left.
Manjot didn't stop her. He stood up and knelt in front of Kabir.
"Kabir, beta ese baat nhi karte. Mumma hurt ho geyi na ab?" He asked calmly, "to woh kabhi batati kyu nhi hai ke mere Papa kaha hai?" Kabir asked. Manjot sighed. "Sahi time aane pe bata dengi" He replied.

Kabir and Manjot went to bed early. Bandana, tired after crying for a long time, fell asleep in the balcony.
Abhishek was sleeping on the couch once again, just like the night before, Sameeksha came home late and put a blanket on Abhishek.
At about 4am, Abhishek woke up and went to check if Sameeksha was home.
She was sleeping in her bedroom. He sat on the floor and held Sameeksha's hand, so that he wakes up when Sameeksha wakes up.
