"Ese ghooro mat" Bandana said smiling as Manjot was staring at her while she was driving to Kabir's school. He smiled and looked away, "can't help it" He said making her blush a little. "Tum ruko, me Kabir ko leke aati hu" She said parking the car, "kyu? Darr hai ke fangirls mujhse chipak jaengi?" He asked with a smirk. She looked at him, "kucch bhi" She said leaving. He got out of the car and leaned against the door on driver's side.
Kabir saw Bandana and ran towards her, he hugged her legs, "ek surprise hai tumhare lie" She said, "kya?" He looked up, she just smiled and held his hand. They started walking towards the gate.
She saw Manjot standing out of the car, doing something on his phone, he was looking hotter than before: black jeans, white shirt with sleeves rolled up, sunglasses on, she wondered why she didn't notice everything before.
"PAPA!" Kabir shouted excited, Manjot looked up, he smiled and put his phone in his pocket. "Champ!" He said kneeling down. Kabir came and hugged him tightly. Manjot kissed Kabir on his cheek, "kaisa hai?" Manjot asked with an ear to ear smile. "maine aapko boht miss kia" Kabir replied. Manjot smiled and picked him up.
"Ab thode time ke lie me tumhare pass hi hu" He said making Kabir sit on the back passenger seat. "Kaha jaana hai?" Bandana asked as they sat in the car, "Kabir ko ice-cream dilate hai pehle" He said. She nodded and went to the ice-cream parlour nearby.
They were standing in the queue and Kabir was deciding which ice-cream he was going to get. Bandana looked at Manjot who was standing on her right, he was on his phone. She snatched the phone from his hands, he immediately looked at her, "arey" he said trying to get the phone, "yeh ab mere pass rahega" she said putting it in her pocket.
He made a poker face, "kya? Hamare saath time spend karne aae ho na? To woh karo" She said, he sighed and nodded. They bought Kabir an ice-cream and left. "Mujhe mera phone mil sakta hai?" He asked her as he sat in the car, "esa kya hai phone me?" she asked. "Arey ese hi" He said.
She gave him a look, "please" he made a puppy face. She rolled her eyes and gave him the phone. They finally left the place.
"Mumma ice-cream khaogi?" Kabir asked, "isko khilado" She said referring to Manjot, "Papa ice-cream?" He asked Manjot. "Nhi beta, tum khao" Manjot smiled. They stopped at a traffic junction, "kya hua Mumma?" Kabir asked, "shayad police checking ho rhi hai" she replied.
"Yeh to Shetty hai" she said, "Jai Hind Madam" Shetty saluted her, "Jai Hind" she said, "kya baat hai?" She asked. "Bas ese hi checking kar rahe hai Madam. Iss road pe accidents boht hote hai aaj kal, koi pi kar chalata hai, koi vese hi tez chalata hai, to koi phone pe laga hota hai chalate time" He replied.
"Haan yeh to hai vese" Bandana nodded, "aaj kal log phone se kucch zada hi chipke rehte hai" She said talking about Manjot, who was on his phone again. He looked at her and unlocked his phone.
Bandana left the junction and finally reached home. Kabir got out of the car, Bandana opened the door on her side and was about to leave the car when Manjot held her hand.
She looked at her hand and then at him, "kal free ho?" He asked, "pata nhi" she replied not interested, "kal free ho?" He asked again, pulling her closer. For the first time they were that close to each other, she didn't try to get rid of his grip, he was so lost in her that he forgot he was excepting an answer from her.
Their moment was interrupted by Kabir knocking on the window of the door on Bandana's side. Manjot left her hand, she opened the door, "Mumma kya kar rahe ho aap dono? Chalo na" Kabir said looking at Manjot, who was scratching his eyebrow in embarrassment. "Haan chalo" she said leaving the car. "Kal free hu me" She said turning toward Manjot.

The next day, DCP Rane went to drop Manjot at Bandana's place.
It was the perfect chance for Abhishek to check DCP Rane's room. He started from the drawers, there were many files, he read each and every one of them. He then moved to the cupboard, and found more files. One of them was from a hospital, it was the post mortem of the victim that was murdered.
"Shit" Abhishek said and immediately clicked pictures of the file and sent them to Sameeksha.
He received her call a few moments later, "Hey" He said, "Abhishek yeh to post mortem..." She said, he hummed. "Me aur dekhta hu, shayad kucch mil jaae" He said, "accha" She said. "Tumne mere message ka jawaab kyu nhi dia?" She asked, he smiled, "socha case solve hone ke baad du" he said, she bit her lower lip, "par tumne mujhe maaf kia ya nhi?" She asked, "case khatam hone ke baad bataunga" He said.
"Accha theek hai. Ab jaldi se case solve ho jae bas" she said and took a pause, "fir me pakka aake aapse mil lungi" she said, Abhishek cocked his eyebrow, "aapse?" He asked. "haan, okay, Maa mere senior officer aae hai, aapko baadme phone karungi" She said, "ohh okay, bye" Abhishek chuckled.
Sameeksha found DCP Rane standing in front of her, she saluted him and they sat to talk about the case. "Case se related kucch naya pata chala?" He asked, "sorry Sir, kucch milega to zarur bataenge" She said, he hummed.

Bandana unlocked the main door of her house and went in. She was sleepy, tired and exhausted, it's been such a long day. She greeted Sameeksha and was going toward the kitchen when she stopped. The nameplate at the entrance looked different, she went out again just to check her name.
She looked at it, "Sameeksha Sinha & Bandana Manjot Kalra" she read in her mind. She was confused, she felt a hand holding her fingers, she looked down and then at the person who was holding her hand, even though she knew who it was.
"Yeh..." She asked Manjot, "maine likhwaya hai" He said. She bit her lower lip, was it finally time? He was too nervous to say it, even if he practiced it one million times.
"Yeh naam accept karogi Bandana?" He finally asked, "tumhe pata hai na tum kya keh rahe ho?" She asked, he nodded. "Manjot me tumhe apne past ke bareme sab bata chuki hu, uske baad bhi tu..." She was interrupted by him, "tum Bandana Manjot Kalra ban'ne ke lie tayaar ho?" He asked.
She didn't reply, he made her look up and looked in her eyes, "arey kya hua?" He asked seeing tears in her eyes. She immediately hugged him and hummed, "mujhe shaadi ke baad bhi Sameeksha ke saath rehna hai" She said crying, "huh!?" He asked confused and smiled, "use to pooch lo usko kaha rehna hai" He said. "Usko me manaa lungi" she said, he chuckled.
