I fixed Ava's dress and straightened my shirt before I rung the door bell . It was hella cars outside so I don't know who all could be here already .
Some gigantic ass black dude came to door .
"Name" he asked never looking up . "August Alsina and Ava Alsina" I replied
"Come on in" he said slowly moving out of the way . Ion know something about that nigga gave me an weird feeling . Maybe it was nothing tho .
I reached down and grabbed Ava's hand as I said hello to different people , some faces I knew and a lot that I didn't . After a while I looked around for Desire . I decided to check her room .
I went upstairs and knocked and sure enough she was in there getting the finishing touches on her makeup .
"Hello hello" I announced coming in with a shy Ava glued to my leg .
"Hey you guys" She said excitedly smiling . "This little lady must be Ava?" She asked looking at her .
"Yeah this her , come say hey Ava". She slowly came from behind my leg and waved
"Hey" Ava said lowly . "Hey pumpkin" Desire said in awe .
"Omg Aug she is a doll !" Desire said taking her in .

"Why thank ya" I said laughing holding her hand again .
"I'm almost done here then I'll introduce you to Carmen . She's an amazing babysitter . A very much trained professional . I'm sure Ava will love her ." She said making funny faces at a laughing Ava .
"Will do" I said sitting down .
Desires POV
It was finally time for the party to begin so we were about to go downstairs .
"Should I go down and wait for you ?" Aug asked . "You don't wanna walk in with me ?" I asked smiling . " I mean duh but I didn't know if you wanted people all in ya business" he said laughing . "Oh , well yes . Will you walk down with me please" I asked batting my eyelashes at him . "It would be my pleasure shawty ." He said taking my arm .
Me and Aug walked down the stairwell and it was all eyes on us. I put on my gorgeous smile and greeted everyone .
"Welcome to my Desires Secrets Christmas slash Promo Party." I said making everyone laugh. "We're gonna go ahead and get started . I have performances lined up as well as free samples! So everyone please clap your hands for our acting coordinator of the night , Stacey Love." I introduced our host of the night .
I went around greeting people when I seen Gabrielle Wilson better known as H.E.R .
"Heeey Gabri so glad you could make it" I said hugging her . "Oh of course you know ima always come through for you." She replied . "Well mingle, eat , drink , just enjoy okay ?" I told her walking along .
