This morning I woke up around 11am and made sure my schedule was completely cleared. I wanted to use my whole day to assure I was perfect for my date tonight . I hadn't been on one since I was literally 29 about 3 years ago. So I wanted to make sure I dressed right , and did my makeup and hair right . I texted him as soon as I got up to ask how should I dress ?

Casual?! Great . I'm gonna have to go shopping . I never really went out on events dressed casually . But I guess it'll be just like , dressing for the mall ?

I'm gonna need to call my bestfriend Milan to come shopping with me .
Phone convo D: Hello ?" M: Heeeey bih wass poppin?" D: Soooo I gotta date tonight and I need you to come shopping with me" M: with whooo ?! D: his name is August I met him at a charity event M: hmm okay but I'm coming over you got too many clothes to go shopping bye.
She replied before I could respond . I walked in my closet and didn't see anything I liked . Maybe Milan could put something together because we did have similar styles . We were shaped a lot alike . She was gorgeous .

After about 35 minuets I heard a knock at my door and it was her .
"Hey gorgeous" I greeted her kissing her cheek . "Hey beautiful" she replied . "So tell me about this August guy . How long ago did you meet him ?" She asked . "I met him back in October at the charity event in lower Atlanta . He was the vocalist of the day ." I replied slightly smiling . "Ohhh okay so he got at you." She said asking laughing . "Girl did he?! He wasn't pushy but he was charming" I said laughing . "But he didn't officially ask me out until we had a meeting at the office about him singing at my Christmas promo party ." I told her .
"Ohhh okay . So you know you haven't been on a date since slave days , how did he say to dress?" She said laughing . "He said casual" I said laughing back at her joke . "Ouu that's easy . So let's go upstairs and pick you out a outfit so we can eat and you can rest before tonight ." She says draggjng me upstairs .
_______________ After about 15 minuets or so I had begun to fall asleep on my bed when Milan finally came out of my huge closet with options .
"How about this ?" She asked holding up some high rise cut up ankle jeans and a long sleeve Nike shirt I had cut into a crop top with white sandals . "Too plain" I responded .
