"Why do I have to tug the wine," Cesar whined.
"Because you stole artifacts from the musuem," Lawton responded.
"Oh cry me a river!" Cesar said tugging a wagon of wine.
"Says the whiner," Lawton said.
"Oh please, you cried when I donated some of our food to passing by travelers!" Cesar said.
"Donation implies they need it," Lawton responded.
"And we are low on food,"
"Oh, we are arriving in Spandale soon!" Cesar said as he pointed the a cluster of stone buildings with straw roofs atop a hill in the distance.
"That means you are towing it uphill," Lawton retorted.
"Crap," Cesar said.
They followed up the zig-zagging dirt path. Small wildlife covered the side of the path. After two breaks for Cesar and eight cries for help, they made it up the incline. The city was frantic. People ran back and forth grabbing random items and dropping them in front of the gallows. The group parked the wagon near a tavern and continued to the happenings at the gallows.
"Give me your damn gold!" a man yelled.
"Okay..." Juliet said.
"Do it now!" the man yelled.
Lawton pulled out a his club and threw it at the man. The man's skull was shattered open. Then everyone in the town carrying gold and antiques stood in awe.
"No! They're going to raid us now!" The town elder yelled.
"Hello, Cesar and Company, we specialize in killing asshole raiders. We can handle them," Cesar said shaking his hand.
"They outnumber you ten-to-one!" The elder said.
"We can make soldiers out your citizens!" Cesar said happily.
"Cesar, these people have no idea how to do anything," Lawton whispered to Cesar.
"And this man will train them!" Cesar said pointing at Lawton.
"Hrmm, very well sir. Train our citizens well," The elder said.
"Fine," Lawton hesitated.
"Alright, bye bye! I'll be at a book store here!" Cesar said leaving quickly.
"I'll hunt things and try trading with caravans for supplies!" Arlington said also quickly leaving.
"And... I'll be eating stuff," Daniel said.
"Crap, well, I have you Ambrose and Juliet," Lawton said.
"I'll- I'll go bookshopping with Cesar," Juliet said.
"Well, at least I have you Ambrose," Lawton said.
"DOCTOR! DOCTOR! DOCTOR AT THE INN!" Ambrose said trying to get away from Lawton.
"Great," Lawton said.
Juliet ran to catch with Cesar. After an romantic greeting and a kick to the genetalia, the found what looked like a bookshop. They entered the building to meet probably one of the smarter residents of Spandale.
"Hello, welcome to my antique shop," The owner greeted.
"Have you any novels?" Cesar asked.
"You mean books? Yeah, that corner," The owner said pointing at the corner where the books were.
Juliet and Cesar scrolled their eyes around the corner of books until Cesar jumped.
"My-My, Sailor and The Cove, a classic. My little Juliet, would have the honors to read it with me?" Cesar questioned.
