Antonio was going through his mail when he saw another letter from Arthur. He wanted so badly to throw it out, but didn't when he realized it might have some important information. He read the letter from Arthur and tossed it into the fire.
"I will skin him," he was really going to. If they were to fight one on one that would be absolutely no problem for the Spaniard.
He then took the other letter out and was taken back.
Romano's hand writing was amazing!
Oh and other than that, he was okay!
He held onto the letter as if it would save him from his impending doom.

'She won't get mad if I don't die,' Al tried to reason with himself as he struggled to keep the plane in the air. 'I've probably gotten her worried though.' He decided there was no point in talking out loud.
"Maybe I should make it up to her," he thought about what he could do, "there's that bit of land...she is Nueva Mexico, so maybe Nuevo Filipinas is good. Yeah," he thought again, "who wouldn't want land named after them? And I could bring avocados...hm, yes. Everyone loves those!" He began to think of what Maria may have been going at the moment. He hoped she wasn't too worried.

The following will most likely be disregarded but I don't have the heart to erase it! Ciao ;)
"Lai I...we can't kiss anymore," they just broke apart for the third time and she felt very very bad.
"Why not?" he found no reason why not to kiss her. Plus they were alone surrounded by y'all tomato plants. He felt strange though, something must've been in the air because he felt high on something. High enough that he was able to say some of his deepest darkest thoughts. These thoughts had been with him for quite some time now. But today he felt more confident.
"It's not right. I'm seeing someone else," like he didn't already know that.
"That's all you'll have to tell him," he could have his way with words.
"Lai! I'm serious. I don't know what I'm doing right now. Look, you're a great guy. It's just I'm seeing Mexico."
"You wouldn't have kissed me if you were satisfied with that." Suddenly he wasn't awkward anymore. He didn't really like how she was spending as much time as she did with those other guys, and the main reason for it had to be Alejandro.
"That's- true. But it's just because um, he's not here."
"He never liked me," the boy began to walk forwards, and she hesitantly followed.
"Well he can't tell me who my friends are."
"Exactly. Like you guys are so far apart Maria. He could take a boat to Haiti or swim to Nicaragua...he doesn't have the time to take a plane all the way to Asia," she was hoping that wasn't true, but deep inside she knew this wouldn't last.
"But he does. He makes time."
"For now. But c'mon. He's like Spain! Nueva España! And you're left to be Nueva Mexico. Just a sad lowly island. In comparison to him of course," he was starting to lose his intentions with the words he was throwing around.
"That's...that's Spain's fault. He doesn't even call me that."
"What do you even give him? Other than a good time? Moral support? Mangoes? What do you get in return for that hard work Maria? Discrimination? Avocados?" he stopped walking and looked her in the eyes. His eyes were just as dark as hers. They could see their own reflections through them.
"He's my friend. We watch shows together...we talk...we dance, we dream, and watch the stars," she didn't have to be telling him this, but it was more of her trying to convince herself than explain to him.
"You do that with everyone. Does that mean you're also seeing Carlos? Santiago?" he stepped closer again.
"No it doesn't. He's special."
"How?"
"He wouldn't hurt me."
"The things people will do for independence are scary Maria. He cut you already didn't he? He's slept with you, cut you, screamed at you— he almost sounds like one of those people you'd want to get divorced with," he chuckled. Oh how she hated that term.
"Stop it Lai. I don't know why you're doing this. It's not going to change anything."
"You're not denying any of it? Wow! Excellent!
"Stop."
"Lai! You need to stop. Please just be normal again! Why can't you be you again?" she wasn't about to lose one of her best friends.
"This is me Maria. You just don't know. But you will. I've been your friend for a hundred and thirty six years. Our parents were close no doubt. But we can be closer," there was something not quite right with his brain right then.
"You're scaring me. You're not like this. You're nice and considerate and...I don't like this! Stop it."
"Tidak."
"Por favor..."
"Wrong."
"Silahkan? Lai please..."
"Oh Maria. No."
The rest was a blur
Dk what I'm doing it's like 12:30 omg
She managed to run away, but she couldn't stop crying.
Okay, from here it will def count!

"How many more days?"
"Only one! Don't worry. I've got it!" Carlos exclaimed. They were really close to the border, and a patch of grass while they were talking. But then a plane crashed beside them. Santiago began to run, but Carlos stayed behind to investigate.
"HE'S DEAD!" obviously no human could've escaped a plane crash with their lives. There were barely any planes anyways...who was this guy? Carlos got a better look at his face and started laughing. Pablo told him it wasn't polite, but when he saw who it was he began to laugh too, so did Raf.
Santiago thought they had all gone mad.
"Guys it's not funny! That guy had a family at some point...he probably has a wife or girlfriend or something.." he looked over. "ALEJANDRO!" that was rather uncharacteristic of him, but the boy did stir.
"Wha—oww," Al rolled over.
"Well at least we don't have to go all the way to Portugal."
"To Portugal? That means I'm back? Yay," Alejandro smiled a bit before losing consciousness again. Carlos picked him up and placed him in their little 'carriage.' Santiago looked more than relieved.
