"I knew you would come. Isn't it lovely?" Alejandro was staring up at the sky, they were all up because of the sleep difference- and since they weren't over worked. Everyone was doing their own thing though, because of how somber the night was.
"I was bored," she didn't bother address his comment in on the moon.
"Isn't everyone?" He took his eyes off the moon and looked over at her, with a strange look in his eye. He was tired. The voice in the back of his head was still fighting to break free, and with every passing minute, it got stronger— or more desperate, he wouldn't know.
"I would have to be particularly bored to meet up with the likes of you," she explained, now taking the time to glance upwards at the moon Alejandro seemed so fascinated in just mere seconds ago.
Idk why my style of writing changes tbh, it can be lazy ass shit then slowly progress to ok shit.
"Well, since you're here anyways. I wanted to show you something, it's something... interesting," he explained, but saved himself before she could ask, "it's not weird, believe me."
"That's what they all say. If I don't like it I'm leaving. This is an invasion."
"If you keep saying that maybe it'll happen," he shrugged.

"You think there's something off with Al?" Carlos asked Santiago and Maria, they were all on the roof, since the moon was so bright they could read out there. Santi and Carlos had to convince Maria to come out, but it happened.
"Oh something's definitely off with Al," Maria said calmly, "he's different."
"You think that will change?" Santiago asked, all concerned.
"Honestly I hope so. He's so aggressive," she shrugged as she turned the page. "Guys can we not read? It's hot out and the moon is so bright! We can I dunno, dance," she gave them both a smile.
"I'm good with that," Santiago got up and they began to spin around, hand in hand, waiting for Carlos to finish his page. The moonlight really illuminated the Venezuelan boy's eyes.
"Looks like you two don't need me," he joked as he put his book down. He joined in anyways, all of them were holding each other's hands. "So what are we dancing to?" He laughed.
"We can sing!" Maria offered, and didn't bother waiting for their 'ok.'
~
"Don't mind them okay?" Al sounded a bit ticked off— to say the least, "they're always so energetic."
"I wouldn't know. They're your friends."
"That they are," he responded, and for some reason his voice sounded distant almost. There was a hint of longing in his voice, but Florencia decided to ignore it. "Anyway, there's more roof without them you know?" He took her hand again and they walked over to a quieter section of the castle's roof.

"We should bring Al up here," Carlos laughed, they were actually chilling! A little while ago they were searching for Al. He didn't get why Maria became tense.
"He's probably busy sleeping," she explained.
"What'd he do? You stayed up stairs when he came down," Santiago asked, and they stopped dancing for a moment.
"Oh nothing, it's fine," she smiled, "I was just tired from before he came."
"You wouldn't say, cheat on him right?" Carlos was going in the wrong direction, but he was curious, since at least something Pablo said stuck with him.
"wHaT?" Maria looked shocked, and hurt for that matter.
"Hey Hey hey!" Santiago glared at Carlos, "she would never."
Maria wasn't listening though.
"If you must know what we were doing upstairs- he was," she turned around to leave, "trying to get me in the mood. But I uh," she bit her lip down to not cry.
"Wait what?" Santi grabbed her arm and turned her around. "Mood for what?"
"Drop it," she frowned, "my hand. I want to go," she said, with more than a hint of panic in her voice.
"Maria what happened?" Carlos had a change of heart very fast.
"Nothing, just- I wouldn't cheat. I'll see you tomorrow," she smiled a bit and ran away. When Santiago tried to chase her, it was already too late.

As Maria was running on the roof, she heard a familiar voice, and she wondered what on earth Alejandro was doing up. Even after what happened, she still felt he needed rest.
"You know, the sky where we're supposed to be wouldn't be this dark at this time," she heard him say. She was about to talk, but then she realized he wasn't alone.
"Yeah, must be. I'm not tired yet," was that Chile? No, Guatemala. "What am I supposed to be looking at again?"
"The sky? I mean, it's lovely isn't it?" He asked, and just by his tone, Maria knew he was looking up. She felt hurt he was doing their thing with someone else. Sure she was up there too— but interacting with Carlos and Santiago was normal. She decided to leave— whatever right? Yeah. She just needed sleep...in the middle of her day.
