Chapter 7 The Fault in Our Stars

Ansels Pov.

I wake up to see Skyler awake and getting dressed she is in only her bra and underwear. She sees me awake "ANSEL stop staring" she says and puts on a spider man bro tank but its braided in the back and a pair of high waist shorts and her comic strip Keds she made. "Why cant I stare at my beautiful girlfriend" i pout she looks at her hands I promised my brother I wouldnt sleep i the bed as you and i did and i just feel like i broke a promise with the only family i have left" she says and a tear slids down her face. "Hey it ok i can sleep on the floor. Also he is not your only family you have Shailene and Natt once you meet him and you have me i promise your not alone." I say and kiss her forhead.

I hear a knock on the door "Shais here got to go we are going for coffee so Ansel we wiil be back in 30 and you ass better be dressed or i drank your coffee." She smiles. Then I remember as she is opening the door "Sky wait did you take your pill" i say quick but not quick enough "No shit i forgot" she runs to her bag by my side of the bed and mouths 'thank you'.

Skyler Pov.

Shai and i walk to Starbuck and we get there and she asks the qustion i dredded her to ask "what is your pill for" she ask and i look down at my coffee "I have AD-HD." I tell her and look up she is smiling "what?" I ask " Natt Theo James and Miles Teller all have that it not that bad and plus when they toldme they were also nervous. But I never told any one i had ADD. So your the frist person Im telling and please dont tell anyone" she sounds sh.

Then a qustion hit me like a ton of bricks "how do you remember to take your pill ever day" i ask "Its the first thing i see in the morning I set the bottle on my nightstand any where i go." She smile and i nod i going to try that i think to my self.

"We should get back Ansel and Nat are most likely dying for their coffee" Shai laughs and we head back she takes Natt his I take Ansels "When i open the door to the apartment Anael is puting his Augustus Waters lether jackit on and he sees me and smirks, oh this boy IS most defently Augustus Waters.

We get in the cab to take us to the set "So what seen are you shooting today" i wisper so the cabbie doesnt hear. "The part where Augustus and Hazel meet." He wispers back.

Ansels Pov.

We get to set and i see John. "Sky come oni would like you to meet some one" i say taking her hand and pulling her to John. "Ansel how are you long time no see." John says and gives me a side bro hug " And who is this lovly lady" John says smiling at Skyler. "John this is Skyley Jayson she is my girlfriend. She loves your work." I say and she blushes "Hey Skyler its nice to meet you" he holds out and she shakes it "Hey Mr.Green its nice to finally meet the man who inspired me to start writing" she smiles "Please call me John. And maybe if we have time you andi can write a book together" he says with a smile "that would be grand thank so much John"

"ON YOUR MARKS" the director says and Shai , the group of real canser patints, Natt and i sit in a circle.

"Augustus perhaps youd like to share your fears with the group" says the guy playing patrick

"My fears?" I say

"Yes" he responds

I turn and smirk at Shai "I fear oblivion. I fear it like a proverbial blind man whos afraid of the dark"

"Too soon" Natt says smiling

"Was that insensitve? I can be pretty blind to other peoples feeling" i say Natt laughs

"Augustus please lets return to you and your struggles. You said you fear obivion?" Says patrick.

"I did" i reply

"Would anyone like to add to that"

Shai raises her hand shyly

"Hazel!" He exclaims.

She looked and me and spoke. "There will come a time, when all of us are dead. All of us. There will come a time when there are no human being remaingto remember that any ever existed or that our species ever did anythin. There will be no one left to remember Aristotle or Cleopatra, let alone you. Everythingthat we did and built and wrote andthought and discoverd will be forgotten and all of this," she gusters with her hand " will have been for naught. Maybe that time is coming soon and maybe its million years away, but even if we survive the collapes of our sun, we will not survive forever. There was a time before organisms experienced consciousness, and there will be a time after. And if the inevitability of human oblivion worries you, I encourage you ignore it. God knows thats what everyone else does"

She finshes and i lean back in my chair snd say"Goddamn, Aren't you something else" i smirk

"Thats a wrap" says the director "Great work to day be here tomorrow for the next scean" and sky and i leave and i was tired so i go to bed.
