Chapter 33

Johnny and the others get you out of harms way to a safe place. Huffing from the long run Johnny begins to chuckle to himself. "Funny how a vampire could actually get tired," He laughs it off before taking a seat on a near by bench.

From the surroundings, you were in the forest somewhere. Letting out a sigh you try your best to lift yourself up. Propping yourself against the bench, you close your eyes while breathing heavily. Just moving slightly drained your energy.

"Mrs. Park you need to be careful to not drain too much of your energy," The maid proclaims to you before kneeling down beside you. Shaking it off, even you give into a slight chuckle.

"I'll be alright, where are we now? did we lose them?" You began to question.

Johnny shook his head and sighed, "We're just behind the manor, we're a couple miles out.." You nodded and gritted your teeth, "How many people had to die because of them?..." shaking your head you tried not letting it get to you.

"We should move out soon and get to the secret corridors." The maid stated to Johnny whom was catching his breath. "Yeah you're right, it's not safe to go back to the manor," He said before getting up from the bench. "Come on, we need to move," he glanced down at you before picking you back up bridal style.

2 Hours Later

"So when do you proclaim we should go back?" The maid asked Johnny who was pouring some water in a bowl. "We need to wait till morning.. who knows how long they'll be there. Better safe then sorry Aya."

She nods and sighs, her eyes narrowing as she kneels down beside you. The pain in your abdomen wouldn't leave, it felt like hell. Your body broke out into sweat just an hour ago, and you felt like complete shit. "Hang in there Y/n, you'll be alright," Aya reassures you with a soft smile on her face as she gently caresses your damp cheek. You weakly nod before feeling an agonizing pain in your stomach. Your screams fill the room as Johnny and Aya try to calm you down.

"What's going!?" Another voice comes into play. "It's Miss Y/n, she's not feeling well." Aya states as she presses a cold washcloth to your forehead, in attempt to cool you off. "Yu, go try to find some food in the cellar. We need to treat Mrs. Park to the best of our ability." Johnny commands before grabbing another wet washcloth.

Yu nods before running down into the basement. "Think she'll pull out okay?" Johnny asks. Aya sighs and narrows her eyes, "I truly hope so Johnny, but we have a different case here.." His eyes avert back on Aya after wiping your legs off from all the sweat.

"And what do you proclaim it is?" He asks with concern in his tone. 

Aya gets the cloth in her hands wet again before placing it back on your forehead. "She's pregnant Johnny.." She states nervously.

His eyes widen before he averts his eyes back on you, "Is that so.." He grits his teeth, knowing the situation was going to only get worse from here on. "Damn it..." He curses under his breath. Aye sighs and places a hand on his shoulder, "It's alright, we'll save her Johnny. That is our duty, remember that." She states. He nods, but can't help feel sorry for you and your fate to come.

Yu comes bursting out of the cellar door, "I found some herbs and vegetables! Also there was some medical supplies down there along with med tablets, so I brought those too. I'm not sure what else you might need, but there's a lot of supplies down there. It's like Mr. Park foreseen something like this would happen.." He pants as he tries to catch his breath.

Johnny chuckles slightly and gathers the supplies and food from Yu's arms. "Thank you, we'll put these to work right away," He says in a rather calm tone.

Yu smiles and nods, "Alright, so when are we heading back?" He questions. Aya glances in his direction, "Not until the morning, we need to put some space and time between us and whoever those vampires were." 

Not liking that idea, but knowing there's nothing he can do, Yu sits down and nods. "Alright, well is there anything I can do to help?" He asks. Johnny grinds up some medical herbs and makes a tea from them. pouring hot water into a cup he glances in Yu's direction. "Yes, go out and patrol for a few minutes, and only a few. We can't risk getting caught here." He states and returns to pouring the hot water.

He nods and grabs his sword, "You got it, be back in a few." Yu leaves to patrol while the rest stay back to tend to Y/n.

Next Morning

The early morning son rose above the horizon, birds chirped along with the cool breeze souring through the mountains. Aya kept a close eye out and soon made her way back to the safe house.

"The path should be clear for us, lets head out while we have the chance." She proclaims while grabbing the belongings they will need for the journey back to the manor. Johnny nods and grabs a blanket to wrap you in. He smiled at how vulnerable you truly looked, "She looks like an angel when she sleeps don't you agree." He lightly chuckles.

Yu glanced at you and blushed slightly while looking away and crossing his arms. "She looks normal to me." He states. Aya laughs and jumps on his back, "Hey! get off!" Yu struggles. "Oh come on Yu, we all know you had a crush on miss Y/n here from the day you laid eyes on her." Aya's red eyes narrowed mischievously at Yu at his struggle.

"Get off Aya, I'm not gonna tell you again damn it!" He snaps and gets out from under her grasp. She laughs and covers her mouth slightly, "You're too fun Yu, calm down I'm only joking."Johnny chuckles and picks Y/n up. "Here Yu, wanna do the honors and carry miss Y/n this time?" He asks with a smile on his pale perfect face as his deep golden eyes stare down at Yu.

Yu scoffs and gives in, "Yeah sure whatever." 

The group travels down the narrow path back to the manor, trees blowing in the pleasant wind that morning. "Isn't it a nice day today?" Aya asks. Johnny smiles and glances at her, "I'd say it is." But soon his smile fades, remembering things he wished not to. You being pregnant bothered him greatly, and he wondered what Jimin would think about this issue.

"Johnny! Aya!" Yu spits out, "The manor!"

The two averted their eyes back in front of them to see the horror before them. Aya's eyes widened as they all stopped in their tracks. "No way..." Johnny began, "This can't be happening.. it can't be real."

The brilliant mansion they knew and lived in so long, was burnt to ash.
