Amanda

I looked into the mirror of the airport's bathroom. My hair was wild and free, cascading down my back, my face had no makeup on it. My scratches were healing slowly, luckily, Aubrey hadn't even touched my nose piercing, which meant there was no chance of it getting infected. It had been a month since my fight with Aubrey. I sighed and tried to calm down my trembling hands.

My cousins were practically here, in Miami. And probably Sam was with them, since he was arriving in the same flight, but not with them. I walked out of the bathroom, my stomach was a complete nervous wreck, tightening and churning all the way to the waiting area outside the exit for the plane passengers.

I glanced at the flight board: their flight had landed almost half an hour ago. I played with my fingers as I looked nervously at the exit doors, waiting for two identical faces to appear. My mind was spinning round and round, not getting over the fact that I was about to see my cousins. I glanced back at the exit doors and gasped, they had finally arrived. A huge group of girls and boys chatting and laughing walked out of the doors, and the twins with them.

I watched the twins look around for who I assumed was me. When they saw me, Arden placed a hand on her open mouth and Skyler just stood there. Instead of walking, I ran. I zigzagged around the huge crowd waiting for their friends or relatives. When I was closer, I opened my arms and threw myself against them, hugging them hard. They placed their arms around me and we stayed like that.

"Oh my god!" I said after a while, pulling away and examining both of them, "I can't believe you're here!" I noticed Skyler's hair and smiled. "Cool haircut, Sky."

"Cool nose piercing, Almonds," she replied with a smirk.

"Even you guys remember that nickname?" I groaned and they laughed.

"Anyways" I said when they finished laughing, "I told the hockey coach of my school to tell your coach to let me pick you up and show you around today because we are family." I opened my arms. "So, twins, welcome to Miami!"

"Cool," Sky said, "Where's the car?"

"Follow me," I replied. I helped them with their luggage and walked towards the airport's exit. As we were reaching it, someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around, recognized the person, dropped the bags and slapped him across the face.

"Ow," Sam stated and gripped his perfect face, "What was that for? I thought you had missed me." His lips turned into a smirk as he looked me up and down, as if he were scanning me, which only gave me the urge to slap him again.

"Samuel Trevor," I stated and crossed my arms, "Please tell me why I would miss you after what happened?" I turned to the twins.

"Go outside," I said, "Tyler will be waiting for you, tell him I'll join you shortly." As soon as they left, I turned to the brown haired guy in front of me and frowned.

"Oh, come on, Amanda," he said, "You missed me didn't you?" He placed his arm around my shoulders. "We can get back together, you know. I left Amelia, so you can stop being mad at me already." I squeezed out of his grasp.

"Sorry, Sam," I said, "You're too late, I have a boyfriend." I spun around and walked outside, feeling Sam's green eyes pierce my back. Tyler was waiting with the twins inside the car. I sat in the passenger seat and sighed.

"Let's forget about that guy and enjoy the day, please," I said before Tyler could comment something about Sam, "Sorry to ruin your day, but I promised your coach I would show you around Hillview High, since your teammates are doing the tour today as well, if I disagreed I wouldn't had been allowed to fetch you at the airport." Skyler groaned heavily while Arden just shrugged. I looked through the rearview mirror and studied the twins carefully. Skyler had gone even more rebellious with that half-shaved hairstyle that suited her perfectly. Arden had her blond hair longer than ever, in big curls that made it look like a yellow waterfall. It was amazing how they were identical but complete opposites at the same time.
