4.TARA

Well I know you probably have no idea at all who I am but hey it's simple, angel and human had an affair, and I was the by product, anyway early this morning, we were pulled into the sanctum meeting room, with the arrival of the archangel Chamuel, it was the first time he ever visited our sanctum and he had requested to See Me and Lauin, I mean it was an honor but also kinda got us worried since archangels don't make house calls, so we met him and he broke the news, anyway long story short, we ended up heading to governor's island leaving the rest to prepare for the battle of our lives. Fast forward to the island, after the plan was made, I returned to Lauin, it was only a month after he had told me he loved me and I replied that I did too, our relationship has just started and now we face a situation with a chance that either one of us or both of us weren't coming out alive. He just told me, "have faith in yourself, you are much stronger than you realise, Ariel wasn't made archangel of the apocalypse for no reason. Dig deep and you will find the strength you need to get through this and after this little fight, we are going for that date they interrupted last week." I kissed him and we separated, I and the girls we took the opposite route, I followed Chamuel's directions to the secret entrance he had discovered and once we were there, we realised it was well guarded, I then sent a message to Lauin telling him we were ready and a few minutes later, the guards ran towards the opposite side of the island, leaving few of them to guard the entrance, I then looked at the girls and told them to get ready, I knew I had to clear a path, so I manifested my wings, followed my training and called upon my mother's power, I focused on the guards and them the ether started surrounding them, by the time they realised what was happening, it was too late, the mist froze them to ice, and we passed by untouched, when we reached them, Alex slashed then through with her garotte breaking them to bits, when we reached the door, it was sealed with magic, Sadie then came forward and and she placed her staff on the door, it light up with golden flames and soon the entire door was glowing with the same color, she then said "hadi" and a golden hieroglyph appeared on the door,the door was then blown to bits, that attracted a lot of attention,which meant we had to get busy, Sadie asked us to get closer to her so we did, she then cast another spell and a shadow passed over us, with in no time, we couldn't see each other, luckily neither could the monsters, we then moved slowly through the cave and slowly looked for the center, luckily it wasn't all that disturbing so we found it real soon, but with our lack, it was magic proof, so the moment we moved in, our invisibility spell died out, and we were left facing the two deities Annabeth and Alex went into motion and Sadie joined them, I knew all that was left was for me to drain the battery, but before all that happened, we needed to figure out what the deities plan to do with the world. So I went directly for their middle, down on the floor was a triangular table well not exactly a table since it had no legs but you can call it a table top, to me it looked like a table. Anyway on it, there were images in the mist, but the images were moving too fast I couldn't understand any of their meanings, so reluctantly, I placed my hand on the table top and I willed for the images to slow down, I don't know why I did it but it worked and maybe it worked a little too well, I was in the mist, inside the future it was displaying, the gods were beaten, all the four Parthenons were destroyed, the world was in endless chaos, darkness was spilling in from every possible source possible, the universe was broken, the boundaries that contained the dark empty out side were broken, monsters roamed everywhere, it was like they ruled the universe now, but everything was passing by so fast, like I could see the entire year in two seconds and completely comprehend it, then I looked and in front of me was Akatriel, he came to me and told me that "this is what will come to pass if you fail or if you try destroying them like Chamuel promised, you have to find Lauin, and tell him it's time, tell him he is ready, tell him that it's the only way the world survives, he will know what to do. Now hurry before they notice your presence and follow you," "who will notice? " I asked him and he replied "the leviathans, they can't follow you or else everything will be lost. " I then got pulled out of the mist, Annabeth had pulled me out, I thought the visions were too much they made me tremble until I realised the entire world was shaking, everyone was shaking, "what's going on? " I asked, "you have been in there for over thirty minutes, the world has been asking for over twenty, but it should have stopped by now, Percy has gone too far, he may not survive this energy he is using unless we stop him, and if he is dying, he will take the entire island with him and maybe half of Manhattan if not the entire city." replied Annabeth, I could feel the worry and urgency in her voice, "I couldn't wait any longer I had to pull you out and you have to take us to him, now" I realised everyone else shared her opinion, "I know what to do" I told them, and then I reached for the battery, it was covered in layers of magical protection, Annabeth and Sadie looked at each other and apparently they knew what to do too, like they had done it before, Sadie reached into her bag and retrieved some words and wrote them down for Annabeth, she then started reading them like a spell only this one was in both Egyptian and Greek, it didn't work too, Alex seemed to be thinking about something so she asked them to repeat, when they did, she used her garotte to push through the magical barriers to the battery and she threw me the other end as the power rose up through it, I grabbed it just as the power reached the end and it was like getting struck by a gazillion lightning bolts at the same time times ten but instead of turning you to rubble, instead of fills u up with energy, I dealt the way I feel when I drink the celestial drink the angels bring at times when you are very ill or maybe when they need you to do something for them, it boosted all my senses a thousand fold and I felt like I could carry the entire world and throw it like a beach ball, then I realised I was glowing, soon enough, the energy will be too much and I'll transcend which means all my friends here will be turned to ash, so I tried to hold it in, I went deep toy connection with Ariel, I felt her presence somewhere in the universe and I asked her to lend me her help, suddenly I felt more on control, I drained the entire battery and when I was done, I felt something break like a wire being cut, the two gods lost their concentration and u realised soon enough they would be turning to us, I thought about Lauin and I could feel him, I willed myself and all my friends to go there and then there was a blinding light, when it faded we were on the battle field, then I looked up and I couldn't believe what I was looking at, Percy was somewhere up in the clouds, in between two funnel tornadoes, he was sucking up everything except for his friends, Lauin was up there with him, Percy had a golden green glow around him like an angel he radiated too much power that I could feel it down this way, but then when I looked deeper, I realised he was losing control, the power was running on its own and soon enough it was going to hit critical and he will blow up, Annabeth was staring at him like she had lost it, I tapped her and I told her he was going to blow up, she simply muttered, "I have to stop him, take me up there, I cab calm him down I can help him," I doubted anyone could do any thing but never the less I took her up there, when we reached him, she begged him to calm down but he just told her that he had lost control, everyone down there was staring at us, our friends and monsters alike, the fighting had stopped,its like everyone forgot what they were doing, Annabeth hugged Percy and somehow, it felt like he had regained control, I can't explain how I knew it but I did, I then grabbed Annabeth and Percy fought and screamed and he released a bust of green energy that smelled like the Ocean,the fresh ocean and beautiful beaches, then the flow around him died and he plummeted down wards unconscious, Lauin grabbed him and placed him safely on the ground, Magnus came over saying he can help, Annabeth trickled some blue liquid in his mouth and some brown cubes, done how I understood it was nectar and Ambrosia, the food of the Olympians, color returned to Percy's face and then Magnus placed his hands on his chest, his hands immediately glowed and soon so did Magnus, I smelt and felt like the best day of summer, the comfortable heat and then Percy gasped for air, he raised his head and sat up, he looked at all of us and he said, "it worked, the gods, it worked." that is the news we all wanted to hear, "how do you know" asked Carter, and Percy replied, "I just met my dad, Poseidon, I was on my way to the underworld but he found me and he said, not yet, it's not yet time,and he sent me back, also he said that I tell you that your plan won't work." I then remembered what Akatriel had said, I turned to Lauin and I decided to tell him, "Percy is right. " "what do you mean?" Asked Lauin. I then told them of how I touched the table top and I was drawn in and Akatriel and everything when I was done, everyone else seemed broken. All except Lauin then he mumbled, "I was afraid that would happen," "wait you knew the plan wouldn't work? " asked Alex, he looked at all of us and he replied "I thought would work, I wanted it to work, because that would mean I wouldn't have to do what my father wants me to do. " "and what exactly is it that you have to do? " asked Annabeth, he looked at all of us and he said, "rewrite reality, write the two god's out of reality, only then can they be permanently defeated. My father controls all realities so to a small extent even I can do it, but.. " "but what, you are telling me you have a way to defeat these god's and you don't want to do it, " asked Sadie "but rewriting reality is delicate, one small error and you can erase an entire country from reality, an entire planet, besides there is always a cost to rewriting reality, it doesn't come simple," "but I thought you were immortal" asked Percy "doesn't that cancel all those payments? " "not quite" I replied, "we are immortal yes but the right weapon can kill us because of our human aspect, also angels can die, only archangels are truly immortal, now being archangel nephilim, we are more resistant than the rest even some angels but even we can die," "unless we transcend" finished Lauin, "to do this I would have to transcend, bit that's dangerous too."
