D L nI have unexpected ups and turns in my life. Mystery-solving is one example of those, which affects the most damage for its events are instant and surprising. Starting from its peak, from the victim until the crime motive, most of everything is a bombshell. Once you are lured by a knot, you'll get entangled by it and boom! You'll just get surprised that the threads are already killing you.
This one, as I thought, is an event that is full of bomb boxes and killing threads. I may be shocked during the manner of crime-cracking yet the ending makes most out of my shocks. The ending is too unexpected that you need to go back from the start to untie the knot that surrounds you.
The gesture that my comrade has begun made people in the restaurant very confused.
Without thinking, he pointed and focused his intent to the person at the entrance who stopped upon hearing a loud voice of liability.
"You can perfect your lies but you can't pass the trial of guilt," Henry noted before proceeding to the center table of the restaurant where the man in black suit sits. Henry sat beside him and crossed his legs which made the man and the people inside more confound to what's happening, "Lucky you, for the murder lasted a week."
Napahinto ang lahat sa ginagawa nila, lalo na nang tanggalin ni Henry ang pekeng balbas nito. The act made their eyeballs almost escape from its eyehole. The people in the room became more stupefied when Henry made a sudden change in his tune. From an information bearing voice, his sound turned into his original young confident tone, "Am I right? You already had lots of blood from your hands before going in here?"
Dahil napatigil ang lahat sa kanya-kanyang ginagawa, marahil ay napansin ito nang nahuli sa balitang Chef or Manager ng restaurant. He got a confused look when he came to the source of the voice and like everybody else, his mouth agaped from the unexpected change of the reporter that he talked with just minutes ago, "I...ikaw,"
"Sorry for tricking y'all," Henry raised his right hand to signal his apologies, "Don't worry. I only tricked y'all once, but the murderer is tricking you for all this time."
If I'm not mistaken, although I can't really hypothesize as of how is it possible, the confident stares of Henry which he shoots to the person at the entrance may primarily mean that that person is the one na pinatutungkulan ni Henry sa kanyang mga salita. If that's true, then how did Henry came up to that person? I mean, given the limited clues? The person's not even in the list of our potential suspects minutes ago who are the employees that we interviewed.
Henry did found something out which I don't have a hold of.
"You have a thick-face for bringing yourself here and leaving some important evidence behind. Did you always knew that no one will find out about your serial killings?" Henry crossed his arms and half-closed his eyes to the person who is still in difficulty to grasp the situation she's in.
Yes, the culprit where Henry's head points to is another 'she'.
"Correct? Miss Flyer Girl or let me say, the butcher suspect?"
It never did cross my mind to consider the flyer girl as our potential suspect. Wala siya sa restaurant kanina. In short, kararating lang n'ya. I had no time to think that the flyer girl can be a suspect of this suspicious crime for I didn't even saw her single soul when our fake interview lasts.
"Excuse me? Who are you? I mean, the real you and why are you doing this to her, to our employee?" The waitress bursted.
Henry smiled, "I am no liar but I deceive. Call me a detective."
