Finally. I'd never thought I'd be this happy to go to school. I feel like this break has been too long.

"Nat!" I heard Opal's voice through the entire hallway. I ran to her and gave her a big hug.

"Opal hey how are you?" I said back with the same enthusiasm if not more.

"I've been alright, I know you have been great though. How's lover boy?" She asked playfully nudging me. Opal was the only person to know Jonah and I were official. I don't feel like telling anyone else because I don't want all the attention.

"He's good." I answered back as we finally reached my locker. "I mean, we are taking some time off-" I started to say but Opal stopped me.

"Time off? You only just started dating." She said completely confused.

"I don't want us to get sick of each other." I mumbled as I started shoving things into my locker.

"That's how it is though. You are supposed to get sick of each other until the point where you won't be able to be without each other." She laughed.

"Okay, okay. I really don't know how this whole relationship thing goes." I rolled my eyes.

"No way, Jonah is your first boyfriend?" She whispered loudly. Thankfully, the bell rang then.

"Saved by the bell." I sent her a wink and started to make my way to English literature.

"I suggest you tell him!" She yelled loud enough for me to hear before I lost her in the wave of people.

"Hey, have you seen Jonah at all?" I asked Opal as we sat down in the cafeteria. I haven't seen him all day. I quickly scanned the area and saw him. "Found him."

His eyes quickly scan over the cafeteria and fall on me. I send him a short smile only to have it fade the next second. He ignored me. Completely. He literally saw me, and turned away.

What the frick?

"Oh there's Nathan." Opal squeals as she jumps up in excitement to see her boyfriend.

Opal and Nate spend the rest of lunch together which I don't really mind. Nate is so nice and perfect for Opal.

Classes go by quite quickly which I am thankful for. Finally I get to go home. I don't even acknowledge Jonah's presence as I walk out of the school.

I decided to walk home today because I have no car and I'll be able to clear my head.

The walk was fast, I had earbuds in most of the time but I did get a chance to think.

The only guy that I have ever dated, or who has ever liked me, is getting pushed away by my fears of being too clingy. Maybe I should just give him time...

I sit down at my desk and decide to be productive.

I knock out my homework, I finish everything pretty quickly. So I decide to go for a run. I run to the shopping outlets and run in to a group of boys who I recognise from some of my classes.

"Hey, you're West's girl right?" The one with curly hair asked. He was quite attractive, with brown eyes and a little nose ring. "I'm Jack by the way, and this is Zach and here's Cain." The two boys behind him waved at me.

"I'm Natalia. And yeah, I'm with Jonah why?" I asked a bit confused as to how any of this was of their concern.

"Okay we are gonna be real with you, West isn't who you think he is. Yeah, he's all sweet-talk now, but just you wait." Cain the one with dirty blonde hair spoke up.

"What? I'm so confused." I said shaking my head trying to understand what they were on about.

"Last girl he dated transferred schools. She was the only girl he ever loved and after he ruined their relationship, he swore never to date. Ever. Yet, here he is." Cain continued with a smirk plastered across his face.

"Ruined the relationship? What did he do?" I was genuinely lost.

"That's for him to tell you. Just a small warning though, sleep with one eye open." Jack said as they all skated away.

What. In. The. Name. Of. Hell.
