The ceremony was beautiful.

My parents vows had most of the guest in tears, including myself. I watched as they walked down the aisle and out of the ballroom doors.

Most of the guests started filing out after my Mom and Dad walked out the doors. I looked over to see if Zayn was near, but he wasn't. I must've lost him in the crowd. I walked out with Alex and Bonnie to the room where the reception was being held.

It was decorated similarly to the ballroom. I looked around for Zayn as I walked to the main table.

I still didn't see him anywhere.

Mom and Dad were posing for pictures and I waited until they were done before I approached them.

"It was a really beautiful ceremony." I said as I hugged my Mom and then my Dad.

"Thank you, (Y/n)." my Mom smiled.

"I'm going to look for Zayn. I lost him in the crowd." I told them. I walked away as more people went to talk to them. I still didn't see Zayn anywhere.

My cousin, Blair was already seated with her husband. I walked over to her, "Hey, Blair."

"(Y/n)! You look so beautiful today! You and Zayn walking down the aisle was perfection." She gushed as she handed me my small clutch. I asked her to hold it during the ceremony when I ran into her earlier.

I smiled, "Thank you. Speaking of Zayn, have you seen him?"

"Well, I saw him talking to Easton and Mark a few minutes ago. They were right outside in the lobby and-"

I started to walk away before she could finish. If Zayn was talking to my brothers then it couldn't be good. I hurried out the reception and into the lobby.

I looked around and still didn't see Zayn, but I saw my brothers. I went over to them, "What did you two do to Zayn?"

"We talked to him." Mark said. By the way he was looking at me, I could tell that Easton told him everything.

"You two had no right to talk to him!" I yelled. I was glad that most of the people were already inside and not gawking at the three of us.

"You had no right to bring him here! He is an escort, (Y/n)! Why would you even think that it would be okay for him to be here?!" Easton shouted.

"He isn't a bad person, Easton! You act like he is a prostitute or something!"

"That is what he does, isn't it?! I can't believe that you still let him be here after you learned what he does for a living."

I felt like smacking him right then and there. They didn't know anything about him, but they were just judging him because of his job. Zayn told me that he never slept with any of his clients and I really believed him. I trusted him and I really cared about him. I didn't want my brothers to run him out of my life just because they didn't understand.

"I'm the one that contacted him! I knew what he did before we came here!" I confessed.

My brothers stood there in shock.

"You're kidding me! (Y/n), are you crazy?" Mark questioned.

"No, I'm not! I knew that if I showed up here alone that Mom and Dad and even you guys would pester me about why I haven't found anyone, so I contacted his agency. I fell for him, guys. I know that his job is out of the ordinary, but Zayn means a lot to me." I held back my tears. I really wanted to know where he was.

"You need to let him go. He isn't the guy that you are meant to be with." Easton said.

"I'm tired of the two of you telling me what I should do. I found someone that cares for me just as I much as I do about him and now you want me to just let him go?"

"Mom and Dad will be furious when they find out, (Y/n)!" Mark exclaimed.

"I don't care what they think! I am old enough to make my own decisions and I don't need the two of you to do that for me anymore." I walked away before they could piss me off anymore.

I went back into the reception. I hated how this all turned out. It was supposed to be such a nice evening, but it got ruined.

I just needed to be with Zayn. I needed for him to hold me into his arms and tell me that everything was going to be okay. I felt like everything was going to crumble any second.

Mom and Dad were sitting at the main table. I went to them and they could tell that something was wrong.

"What is going on?" Mom asked me.

"I'm sure that Mark and Easton will fill you in. I have to go. I'm so sorry." I said before I walked away. I saw Mark and Eason walking towards them. I knew they were about to tell them everything.

I didn't care anymore.

I left the reception and walked out of the hotel. I hailed a cab and gave him the address to my parent's house. I tried calling Zayn, but it kept going to voicemail. I just hoped that whatever my loser brothers said didn't scare him off.

When I made it to my parent's house, I gave the cab driver money and then hopped out. I opened the front door and it was quiet.

"Zayn?" I called out.

I checked the kitchen and the living room before I went upstairs to my old bedroom. I opened the door and he wasn't there. I was about to leave when I saw the envelope on the bed.

It had my name on it. Inside was the five thousand dollars that I gave Zayn for his services.

On the back of the envelope was two words that broke my heart as I read them.

I'm sorry.
