I can't believe you told him to run that red light, Michael.

Oh shut up, if he didn't, he'd probably be late. Besides, he didn't get a ticket.

Please shut up, I have a headache.

"Dude, what's up you're totally zoned out," Calum brought me out of my crazy internal conversation as we walked through the front doors of the school. The ride to the school had been silent on Calum's part, meanwhile I was gradually getting a migraine from Ashton and Michael.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine," I sighed. I obviously didn't plan on saying anything to Calum, because this was all really stupid. Totally in my imagination or something, maybe I inhaled some funky stuff at that dudes house last week and it just now got to me.

I heard a sigh and I didn't think it was from Calum.

See, this is why I'm here, why did you go there? Is that why you failed that quiz Monday? I heard Ashton scold.

I groaned. Shut up, it wasn't even anything.

Yeah, chill out, I heard Michael say.

"Luke, dude," I felt Calum shaking my shoulder.

I snapped out of my trance and looked at him, "yeah, man, what's up?"

"I've been talking to you for like five minutes did you hear anything?"

"Uh," no, because I have these idiots arguing in my head now.

Heeeeey, I heard that, Ashton whined.

I shook my head defeatedly. Calum furrowed his eyebrows but continued talking when we got to my locker, "there's a party tonight at some dudes house after the game, I was wondering if you wanted to come."

no

"yeah, sure, where is it?" I shrugged.

"It's at his house, I'll get the address sometime today," Calum stuck his hands in his pockets.

"okay, text it to me," I got a textbook out  and closed my locker while he walked off. I went in the opposite direction, ignoring the voices from the people I can't even see.

Bro, if you go to this party something bad is going to happen, I can feel it, Ashton scolded.

I rolled my eyes and got to the classroom and plopped down in my desk. I put my head in my hands and rubbed my temples. I can't deal with this.

Ashton, chill out, nothing bad is going to happen, I heard the other one say and I could feel my headache getting worse.

"Mr. Hemmings is everything alright?"

My head shot up and my eyes met my English teacher, he was looking at me with concern on his face, "uh, y-yeah, just a little headache."

He nodded and continued talking to the rest of the class about some story they were suppose to be reading. I looked down at my book trying to concentrate, we were reading some story about a doctor, I guess. The title of the book was long, The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus, and it sounded really boring.

Luke, go to the party, it'll be fun... plus, there will be girls there, you can get over what's-her-face, Michael brought me out of my concentration.

I was confused. What, how do you know about that.

I'm your mind, remember? He muttered and I could hear the smugness in his voice.

I rolled my eyes, I don't even care anymore.

Ashton spoke up, No, Luke, don't go. This is why I'm here, you know what people think of you, this party isn't going to help.
