Friday 8am

Jin's POV

Dinner with Jennie was actually fun last night. At first the atmosphere was awkward but then when she tasted my food, the ice broke and we were more comfortable with each other. We avoided talking about the other night cause there wasn't much left to say. But this morning she woke up earlier than usual and I heard her talking on the phone from the other room. She was mad for sure but I couldn't listen and I didn't want to eavesdrop anyway. When I went to the kitchen after my morning shower, she was there, calmer, making us breakfast. I poured some coffee and sat on the kitchen counter close to her. I could tell that she was still tense. "Are you okay?" I hesitantly asked her. She grabbed the plates with our food and placed them on the table. "Yeah. They called me about the car. It's ready. I can go and pick it up after work." for a moment I believed her but she was clearly screaming this morning. "And I guess you were screaming out of excitement?" she looked at me "Did I wake you? I'm really sorry. Didn't mean to." I sat on the other side of the table so I can see her. "It's fine. Is everything okay?" I insisted a little more. "Yeah. I'm a bit on edge these days. The insurance for the house had some trouble with the paperwork and I kind of exploded. That's all."
I decided to let it go for now. So we ate breakfast and then headed to work.

1pm

I could see that she wasn't focused today. We had to retake almost every scene at least 6 times. She was forgetting her lines, forgot to move and she was zoning out in every break we took. I saw the director approach her, they talked and he seemed mad. Couldn't blame him though. She finally walked out on him. He came back and announced that we had a 15 minute break. So I decided to follow her. On my way some members of the crew stopped me and asked me for autographs, for them and their kids. They startled me, cause I spent most of my time at home and I've forgot how it was to be recognised by fans all the time. When I finally signed all of their pictures, I stopped and thought were she could have gone. Then I heard some voices from the dressing rooms in the far back of the hall. I walk there and found where the screaming was coming from. I opened the door and it found some resistance. I stepped in and saw Jennie screaming to one of the make-up artists. She saw me, she gave me a death glare accompanied with a loud roar and pushed me out of her way. I sighed and looked at the woman in front of me watching in awe the events happening. "I apologise in behalf of her. She is tense these days." i said trying to explain to her that it's not her fault. She looked at me for a second and then looked away. "Uhm, I get it. I get annoying few days a month, too."
Aaah, yeah of course. That could be true. But it's not that.
"She is not on her period." And that's when I knew I fucked it up. "Oh, no. It's not like that." but she didn't let me explain. "It's okay. It's common that co-stars fall for each other." I tried to explain that it's not like that. "No, really we-" but someone walked in and announced that we have to get back to work soon. I didn't even turn to see who was he. I, only then, realised that the woman I've been talking to this whole time it was the same person that made me feel okay for a little while and didn't ask stupid questions that, for obvious reasons, I couldn't answer, such why did the band split. Instead she asked for the relation between the boyz and me. How I felt. Everyone cares for the reason we disbanded but no one ask us how we feel. She grabbed some stuff from the chair and started walking towards the exit. I stepped in her way. "It's Y/N, right?" she raised her face to look at me and her eyes met mine. Just by looking at her, I felt at peace. But she wouldn't talk. "You really have a habit of not talking much around me. I hope I can change that." and I smiled at her. But her expression turned serious. She stayed silent for a moment and then finally talked again. "Maybe you should focus on your girlfriend's way of speaking more. That'd be great." she left me there dumbfounded.

6pm

After work, Jennie found me by my car waiting for her. "Jin, I'm sorry. This is truly a bad day for me." she said lowering her gaze. "It's fine. Let's go get your car back." I said and we both stepped into the car.
When she got the car I thought we were going home. "Thanks for driving me here. I have something to do. I'll be home later. Is that okay?" she said stepping into her car. She seemed to be in a hurry. She started the engine and drove off before I could give a proper answer. A quick thought crossed my mind but quickly vanished. So I went home.

8pm

It was almost dinner time and she wasn't home yet, so I texted her. She never called or texted. Hours past and I decided to head to bed.

1am

In the middle of the night, I woke up to my phone ringing. I checked the number and it was an unsaved number. "Who is this?" I heard soft sobbs on the other side of the line. Then a woman spoke and clearly she was the one crying. "Be ready for what's coming your way, Seokjinie." and she hung up.
