Petite figure. Golden hair with a little bit of rose gold. Back arched like the curve of the crescent moon. Beautiful like a rose. Delicate like a petal.
Rose walks through the school gates in her school uniform. Her handbag on her right shoulder as both hands hold the strap of her light pink handbag. Her hair tied in a low ponytail as her two long, strand of bangs on both sides of her face dangles down her long shaped face. She wonders where her girl friends were at. They usually wait for her at the gate, but not today. She takes out her cell phone to look at her notifications. Jennie texted her that they were late and are on their way. She locked her phone and sighed a little. She wasn't used to walking alone to class. It felt awkward because she was just really shy herself.
She continued to walk up the stairs to enter the school. She reached for the door handle and opened it. Before she can step past the threshold, an arm forcefully pulled her to the side. Blue paint spilled all over the door way. Some paint got on her white shoe and her legs. She look to who pulled her aside and saved her from that paint prank. She locked eyes with a girl with brown hair and bangs covering her forehead.
"Watch it next time. Cause ain't no one saving you the next time." The girl said to Rose and started shuffling in her duffle bag.
This girl seems like she is fit for sports. That's right she's on the basketball team. She was almost casted in the boy's team, but she declined that because she straight up knew that boys were definitely drama which leads to love trauma. Not her cup of tea. She likes it solo cause that's just how easy life is without boys. Stress free.
"Th-thanks for helping me." Rose nodded her head to thank her.
"Clean your blue legs and here is a pair of shoe. I don't need them back. Just don't return it. I don't like sharing things with people." The girl handed her a clean sweat towel from basketball practice and a pair of brand new white Jordans.
Rose took the items given to her. The girl looked at rose without smiling and zipped her bag. She left down the stairs to enter through the back of the school to avoid all the blue paint. Rose looks down at her legs and shoe. She smiles to herself. Someone who is cold hearted was nice enough to help her out. She heard someone call her name and turn to look. Jennie and Jisoo was calling out to her. She smiled and walked down the stairs.
"Wow, Rose... What happened to you, I mean your spotting blue." Jennie said as she looked at her up and down.
"Is it prank day?" Jisoo asked the girls.
"They usually prank on new years. It's a way for them to have fun to kick of the damn new year." Jennie said in a preppy voice. "Well you're holding a pair of Jordan's. And we know you don't wear Jordan's. What really happened."
"I uh--" Rose got cut off by Jisoo.
"Wow, a towel from our school's basketball team." Jisoo took the towel and started looking into it and teasing Rose as her nose scrunches up.
"No... it's not like that. Lisa saved me from a pail of blue paint that I didn't see coming and it was just really nice of her to do something like that for anyone." Rose tucked her right strand of bangs behind her ear.
"Ahh Lisa... that's rare??? Isn't it?" Jennie said as she started walking towards the building to lead the girls as they talk.
"Well honey, go change now, school starts in 15." Jisoo put her hand on Rose's back to gesture her to continue walking.
Mingyu stood there feeling bad for Rose. He literally watched the girl he crushed on get paint all over her. He watched everything. He even watched his own friends (Jungkook and Bam Bam) set up the pail of paint. Even if he didn't do it. He felt like he did it because his friends are his friends, so he basically did it mentally. He stained her. It wasn't his idea but who was him to tell his troublesome friends to live their 2019. Instead he sat back and watch, but he didn't know that it would be Rose who would open that door. I mean as long as it didn't pour over her head. That was something he was glad that didn't happen.
In the bathroom Rose wiped her legs and changed her shoes. She looked at herself in the mirrored and wondered to herself, "Why do I feel so empty? It's like I'm not even here or even ALIVE anymore." She looked down from the mirror with a sad face. She quickly washed her hands and dried her them with towels. She tossed the towel away and open the door as she held her shoe stained with blue.
Jennie and Jisoo waited for her outside the bathroom. She lifted her hand to look at her shoes. It was the most expensive shoe she bought yesterday, but it was already stained with paint. White is the worst to get dirty. It took a fortune for her to even buy those shoes, she closed her eyes, opened them and took a deep breath. She tossed her expensive shoes in the trash can outside of the bathroom and walked towards her friends.
Mingyu standing behind the wall behind the bathrooms and watched her throw away her shoe. He knew she couldn't afford those shoes and it took her years to save up for it. He waited for the girls to turn the corner. It was just him in that hallway. He looked around and walked to the trashcan to grab her shoes back out. He shoved them into his duffle bag.
What's he planning to do with a pair of girl shoes? It obviously doesn't fit his big feet. Maybe he's reselling them? Maybe he's gonna give it back to her? Try to wash the paint off? Or should he just toss it out and buy her a new pair? Nah that would be over the line.
Did he stain her or did she stain him? (give me your thoughts below?)
Well let's see what he's gonna do with that pair of shoe as this love trauma continues.
