Chapter 5

Erens pov
To say I didn't expect a response to my question would be an understatement and the response I did shocked me to the next  level "as good as this hell hole can get I suppose that bloody double lesson seemed to drag on and on at one point I thought it would never end "he said in a monotone voice but with a slight smile tugging at the corners of his lips but was gone as soon as he noticed he was smiling and his face returned back to his usual stoic cold expression, well damn that was relatable , with a gentle smile on my face and a slight laugh I responded "well that was relatable, what was your first lesson anyway ?" I asked , interested to see what lessons he had .
"I had double history , let me tell you that was the most boring class I've ever sat through , listening to the teacher drag on about aload of irrelevant stuff , for example her getting a divorce don't think she didn't try telling us that story , I mean what does that even have to do with history well ... apart from her relationship being history , to top it of I had brats trying to get my number through the whole class , it was annoying " he said trying to act like it didn't bother him but I knew straight away his was the slight irritation in his voice gave it all away .
"I'll trade you for that any day , I had double maths and let me tell you I don't think I've ever been so confused in my life I mean we were asked to find maths' ex and I just couldn't seem to find it then it had the nerve to ask me why ! , when would you even use that in your everyday life it just didn't make sense "  (a/n x and y 😂 ) I couldn't help but laugh at my own little joke I tried to add in there because why the heck not , looking over at Levi I saw that he was slightly laughing too which was one of the greatest things I had seen , watching someone go from being as cold as ice to having a heart warming smile on their face . Our conversation carried on through the whole of break and form feeling as though the time had passed too quickly , well .. you know the saying time flys when your having fun , well I agree with it one hundred percent it really does fly by before we knew it , it was time for 3rd period , oh totally great . We stood up dusted our clothes off and collected our things , walking to lesson which we just so happened to have together gym , I wasn't looking forward to this I hate gym class in all honestly I suck at anything sporty I can't run I can't kick a football or jump over hurdles , hell ... in all honesty I can just about catch a flipping ball , and I was tall and lanky with next to no muscle so to say doing pe was embarrassing for me would be a massive understatement on my part, we walked to our lockers and grabbed our kits and walked to the locker room to get changed .
I'm minding my own business getting changed when ... BANG! I was pushed straight into the lockers behind me and pinned against them by none other than jean as I'm trying to get him off me I notice Levi looking like he was contemplating something , so I almost jumped straight out my skin when Levi yelled "0i what the hell do you think your doing Brat ?! " shit well I didn't see that one coming , he storms over to us throws jean off me with such force he hits the lockers on the other side of the room and turns back to look at me with a face full of regret not sparing a second glance at anyone around us, did he regret helping me ? I could tell Levi was starting to get uncomfortable with all the people staring at us and he was starting to get agitated by the onlooking people clearly wondering who the hell he was , Before I had the chance to dwell on it anymore I was slammed into the locker behind me by Levi , the air being knocked straight at my lungs leaving a burning sensation in its wake and the pain shooting instantly down my spine . Taking a few seconds for the pain to die down I follow behind Levi who had rushed out after slamming me into the locker , what the hell was that ? Why did he do it ? So many questions running through my head I could hardly think straight as I continued to walk down the hall , walking out the front exit I notice Levi get into his car slamming the door shut behind him , slamming his firsts against the steering wheel and screaming out in aggravation .
I dare not get any closer to him or go to ask him any questions .
I knew this would happen , I knew he would hurt me he even flipping said he would and I ignored it , I HEARD HIM SAY IT !! And I still chose to try get to know him , what the hell is wrong with me . Am I stupid or just plain naive ? I thought we were friends but clearly not , who even does that ? Making friends with someone then hurting them , what the fuck . I don't know if he had a reason to do it or if it was just his plan all along but I knew one thing for sure , I wouldn't be getting as close to him anytime soon . I'd give him some space and hopefully one day in the future we can be friends , maybe ... I don't know yet .
There was only one thing going through my mind as I watched Levi's car speed away .
What did I do that was so wrong ?

I walk home walking through the alleyway near my house , I open the front door take of my shoes leaving the, by the front door and run upstairs , I play Xbox with my two best friends Armin and Marco trying not to think about todays events . Hmmmm ... I wonder what Levi's doing now , before I know it I'm consumed by darkness and drift of into a deep sleep .

Time skip
Still Erens pov

Well it's been a week since Levi started the school and let's just say things got a hell of a lot worse . I thought me and Levi were friends but clearly not ,I was just another stepping stone for him to tread over . Levi know walks round the school with his new group of 'friends ' you'll never guess who they are ... can you guess ? Oh wait that's right , he's only gone and become friends with the group of people he was bitching about on his first day ! Queen b Petra ral and a few of her chearleaders , jean , Erwin , Annie , Reiner and Bertholt . I mean what the hell Petra was practically hanging off his arm yesterday , are they together now ? Honestly Wouldn't surprise me , Petra is after all a social climbing leech , she will like you ... well only till something better comes along then she'll dump and leave you .
But overall you'll never guess what ! Levi started .... pushing me about
It started with the locker in the changing room then when he came into school the next day he was like a totally new person , still wearing his same clothes looking like a bad ass ,but looking at him walking down the corridor you could tell he just didn't care about anyone or anything ... or did he ?
As he goes to walk past me he decides to push me into who of the jocks walking the opposite side to me and I think you can guess what happened from there .
Well I case you can't I got the living shit kicked out of me , when they were finally done with the name calling and their attacks it was like I couldn't breath I was in too much pain to move so I sat there until I plucked up the courage to try to stand , stumbling to my foot with the locker for support I started to hobble to the nurses office , bumping straight into Levi who looks at me and sneers "what are you looking at faggot " he says nudging me roughly with his shoulder with enough force that it knocks me back to the floor , it was at this moment that I decided I'd just stay where I was, I was in too much pain to try and move again so I just waited .
"Eren ? Omg EREN ! " Armin yelled rushing towards me with Marco not far behind him .I waited for the ambush of questions to start and not long after they had . Who did this to you ? What happened ? Are you okay ? Where are you hurt ? Do you need to go hospital? These were just a few of the many questions Marco and Armin asked once they found me , they helped me to the nurse and tried to get me to tell them who did it , I just said I didn't know . Let's just say that was a long day .

By Friday things were literally a living hell . I'd walk into school be slammed straight into a locker . I'd almost had my head flushed at least twice and they would have succeeded if it wasn't for Marco , I've had 1 lunch dumped over me , been pushed into a bin and told that was where I lived . I've been called many names and told many things ranging from being called a worthless fag to being told to kill myself and all over what ? Just because of someone who thinks they are all high and mighty and that they are better than everyone else , well let me tell you something they aren't infact they are the lowest of people the type of people who are so alone, trapped in todays society's that they take it out on other people . It's going to take a hell of a lot more that that to bring me down let me tell you .
You'll get what's coming to you Levi , you'll see !
