The Battle

Tour 5

When General Macmillan started to talk to us about the battle, I thought to myself a bit that why not just send the air force out, wouldn't that be much easier, but then that will destroy the village, so no then. I looked up at General Macmillan, and asked "General Macmillan can't we just combine with the other Generals?"

General Macmillan gave me a look, and then said. "No we can't do that, because if we do then-" he paused for a moment, then said, "maybe we could, but the European soldiers just got a new leader, I didn't even figure that out until I heard one of them say it, well I translated it but that's not the point, the point is that the leader is going to set a bomb out into the USA which might destroy them. So, general's do we have any questions? Or do you guys want to discuss a plan?"

I looked up at the general's and then the general of the air force said. "Well general Macmillan my boys could go out and search for the place, if you like?" General Macmillan gave a pleasant look, then he looked at the Generals and one of them said, "General Macmillan my boys of the navy can set up the fighter jets, they can search the air, but my other boys could search under water for anything." General Macmillan nodded in agreement, and he looked at the other generals, but they didn't add anything in.

After the meeting Conner grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, and he asked. "So how is your nose?" My nose was a little bit numb from where he punched me, "it's fine." I looked at Conner and said. "Hey, I'm sorry for what I done, but you did take a beat from me, and just saying that you did pretty good." I looked at him and smiled. "Well thank you," Conner let go of my shirt, then I headed over to the dome. I was exhausted so I decided that I might need some sleep, because tomorrow Conner and I will have to study the mission, which we might end up in one of the buildings in the village, because we need to find the atomic bomb, which is in a place so Conner and I might need to bring our sniper rifles, and our guns which is a AK-47.

When Conner and I got to go down there, I was amazed how the place was just abandoned, like a nuclear bomb hit this place, the road was made of dirt and it blew like a tornado. The dust would go into my eyes, but luckily, I have a mask that would cover my face up. I looked at Conner and he had a full mouth if dirt from the dust blowing in our way, I tried not to laugh, because we had to be quiet, but the tanks aren't any better, there loud. I barked a laugh when he tried to spit it out of his mouth, "well Conner was that dirt delicious, or what?" He gave me a dirty look, and he punched my arm.

"Ow! What the heck was that for?" He grinned and said, "well that's what you get for laughing at me. Jerk." I looked at him, and then I completely remembered when he beat me up, and I don't want to go towards that again. Lieutenant Liam stopped us and said, "guy's come here for a minute, Captain John said that the place that they have the bomb is in a power plant, so, SPC. Conner, 2PVT. Jeff, Sergeant Mason, and Sergeant Lucifer you four go and check it out. If you find anything call us and we'll be there. Got it?"

"Yes sir." Mason said. We took off Conner introduced me to Sergeant Mason and Sergeant Lucifer, we shook hands, these were the same guys who I got drunk with. Well I'm still not proud of it. It took us about a couple of hours to get there, when we finally got there, I saw two soldiers smoking weed. "Well boys, look what we have here, two stupid soldiers smoking weed, what a bust, huh?" Sergeant Lucifer said in a chilled voice, we crouched down right next to a building, there was a fence covering the power plant, which the fence was probably 11 feet, and there were cameras. "Conner how are we going to get in there?" I asked trying to move my heavy sniper rifle off my neck, Mason looked at my sniper rifle, and back at the camera. "Jeff you just gave me an idea, the sniper rifle that you have has a quiet but quick kill, you and Conner could take out those cameras, while Lucifer and I go beside the house and we'll make a loud sounds, and when they come close we'll use our knives to slit their throats."

That might just work, Conner and I slowly went into the house, we angled our rifles towards the camera's I waited for a moment then a flick of one of Conner's fingers was telling me that was my cue to shoot, I quickly took my shot. Conner and I took out the cameras quickly as possible, the camera lens shattered. I then heard tons of loud noise, which was Mason making weird bird noises, and Lucifer just chilling on the side of the building, while he is flipping a switch of his C4, which luckily wasn't on or he would have been blown up into tiny little pieces. When both soldiers came around the building, Mason quickly grabbed the guy by the neck, and a flick of his wrist he snapped the guys neck, Lucifer did the same as well. "That was simple, I didn't want my knife to get dirty, because of their blood."

He could probably snap a bear's neck if he really wanted to. "Well are we going in there or what? I don't have all day." Lucifer said as he complained, Mason looked at the fence then said, "let's do this boy." We climbed the fence, I'm surprised that the fence wasn't electric, or we would have been dead by now. When we got over the fence, I quickly got my radio out. "Hey 2LT. Liam we're over the fence, this place is pretty huge."

"Well we'll be there in a minute." I quickly put it back, then I ran towards the boys, Mason said. "Jeff, you and Conner are going inside, Lucifer and I are going through the other entrance, now split up." We went to where we were supposed to be. This is a bloody war.
