The Battle

Tour 6

When we got inside I saw a control room were all of the bombs were held or the guys sent them up in the air, I felt sweat trickle down my forehead to my cheeks, it was hot, I ran my hand through my sweaty hair, I then heard voices from the distance I looked over at the door and I saw two huge body guards, about 40 soldiers were plowing through the entrance, when they moved I saw the leader they were protecting the leader, I got a side glimpse of his face, and he had a huge scar running down his forehead to his cheek, he had short black hair, and he was German then suddenly I realized were that scar was from.

He looked exactly like Rowan, but I don't know if it's him or not, I really doubt it, because I slit Rowan's neck about a year ago, it's not possible that he is alive, I killed him, he was dead, nobody could survive from that it's truly impossible, but what if it's really him? I can't be too sure of that. "Sir what would you want me to do with the atomic bombs?" One of the body guards asked, I couldn't understand him, I didn't know what the leader is saying. "Yes sir, I'll take care of him, and what about the other soldiers?" The leader spoke again. "Yes sir, I understand I'll tell the men to get them ready." All of them left, the soldiers were still surrounding the leader, I don't know why though, that leader looked exactly like Rowan, but I'm not sure yet.

There were people in the control room, but only four were there, I quickly got my radio out and said, "hey Mason and Lucifer come in the control room now, there are only 4 people in here, go around the back and then all four of us could get our knives and slit their throats."

"Man, it's about time you're using your stupid head." Mason said. "Man Jeff, I'll just have to snap the guys neck, it's so easy." Lucifer said in a chilled, but husky voice.

"Okay, okay, just get your butts down here."

"Will do, and soon I'll have to teach you a lesson, you hear me boy?" Mason said. I chuckled quietly, "yeah I'll like to see you try."

"Mhm, I'll try you little dog, we'll be there in about, say, a minute."

"Okay now just get your butts down here." A minute already passed what is taking them so long, I then felt a hand on my shoulder, I felt a warm breath tickling my ear, "hey jerk, I'm here."

"Mason, what the heck, don't do that."

"Well I could do whatever I want private."

"Well I may be a private, but you sergeant need to stop doing that."

"I'm the boss, not you."

"Okay whatever 'sergeant' Mason, let's just do this." We all pick a guy out, and when they weren't looking, we all used our knives, well not Mason nor Lucifer did. I put my knife at my guys neck, and I sliced it, the guy didn't scream loudly because I put my hand over his mouth so he wouldn't scream loudly. I looked over at Mason and Lucifer they just snapped their guys neck with a flick of their wrists, Lucifer smirked as he did it, "well boys that was fun, wasn't it?" I chuckled, "well boys, let's do some research, shall we?" I said as I grinned, I sat in a comfy chair and I looked at the monitor, I saw random numbers and I saw a huge cargo airplane, which might be where the atomic bombs are being held, and maybe that's where the leader is taking them to the U.S. because he surely hates us for sure.

I clicked on the cargo ship and I could see what was inside the cargo ship, there were tons of atomic bombs, I mean tons. I suddenly said, "guys we have to get inside that cargo airplane tonight."

"Well what about 2LT. Liam?" Conner asked. "We'll just have to tell him to watch the control room and we'll take the cargo airplane."

"Jeff, how are we going to do that? We need a plan to get in there, we can't just walk in there, and say. 'Hey can go inside the cargo airplane and stop you.' No, we can't just do that, we have to have a plan, so any of you have any idea of how we might get in?" Lucifer asked, I looked at him and I put my hand onto my head, I tried to think of how we might get in, then suddenly an idea came to me.

"Hey, I have an idea, how about we just sneak past the other soldiers." I requested.

"Well I'm not sure if that is going to work, but we'll try, at dusk we'll head out, and Conner you'll check if the coast is clear, now we need to get rid of these bodies, is there a closet anywhere?" Mason said, I nodded and pointed my finger towards a closet, "okay Jeff and Conner you two take the bodies and put them in there, and make sure that there is no blood to be found, understood?"

"Yes Mason." I said, and Conner just nodded his head

"Good, now get to it." When dusk hit, it started to get a little dark, Conner went to check if the coast was clear, and I had to wait hear with Mason and Lucifer, Conner came flying in, and he said, "the coast is clear sir."

"Well that's good, is the entrance of the cargo airplane open?"

"Yes, sir. It is open."

"Well we better hurry up boys, because if they close it, we won't be able to stop it." We went quickly and quietly to the cargo airplane, we hid behind the bombs, suddenly the door was shut, and the engines of the plane roared to life, we took off. I heard the pilots talking to each, which I don't understand, about an hour later I heard 2LT. Liam on the radio, I picked up my radio and he asked, "where the heck are you guys!" I knew he was mad; I could tell of the rage in his voice, crap I forgot to tell him, "we're in the cargo airplane."

"Your what! Get out of there now, hurry!" He gave a loud piercing cry.

"What? Why? What's wrong 2LT. Liam?" The radio lost its single as we got higher into the night sky, why does he want us out? We're trying to stop them, suddenly I smelled smoke, I knew it wasn't a cigarette or even a weed, those have a bitter smell, but this kind of smoke is stronger and more of a good smell, but it's dangerous, when I looked in the passenger side I saw that the pilots were dead, what the heck happened here! They were fine about an hour ago! Things started racing through my mind, how are they dead? Then the front of the plane caught on fire. "Guys we have to get out of here now! It's a trap! They knew that we were here!"

"Everyone there are parachutes in the storage room, get them and put them on quickly, let's move boys!" Mason said loudly, I quickly ran into the storage room, I got the parachute on quickly, Mason pushed the door open, and when I looked down there was water, but I couldn't see land. Suddenly a huge explosion exploded, then I realized it was a C4 they probably planted it underneath the plane before it took off, I looked at Conner who stared at me, he didn't have a parachute on, he then said, "I'm not going Jeff." I started to get worried, and then I said. "You have to come; I'm not leaving here without you."

"No don't, I deserve to die. This is for my country. The plane is heading straight forward to the U.S. I didn't realize it until now. A few hours we'll be in the U.S. then it would drop the atomic bombs, and it would destroy it. So, I'm going to take it down with me into the ocean." I felt my tears build up, I can't just leave him here, I can't. "You have to come Conner, my friend, I can't lose you."

"It's okay Jeff, I'll be fine, just tell my family I love them so much, and tell my wife that I love her too." I then said in a shaky voice, "I won't leave you brother, we soldier are like brothers, and brothers don't leave their brothers behind."

"Jeff come on we have to get out of here now!" Lucifer shouted, I looked at Conner and I wrapped my arms around him, I hugged him, and he said, "you were like a little brother to me." He smiled and he said, "go Jeff." I nodded and then I stood at the edge of the plane, I looked back at Conner, and he nodded his head, I suddenly jumped out off the plane, I saw Mason and Lucifer who already jumped out, we were like 2,000 feet in the air, I pulled the string that was on my parachute, then the parachute came out, and I used the Handles which were right next to me, and I pulled them a couple of times.

When I looked up the plane exploded, and I saw the plane that went down into the water, I looked ahead and I saw a forest, when I got close to the ground, the strings of the parachute got tangled in the tree, I quickly undo the buckle and I fell onto the ground, I suddenly got up and there was no sign of Mason or Lucifer, I only saw pitch black. I looked up and I saw the trees swaying, I sat down on a cut down tree, and thought of Conner, who was now, Dead.
