When the sunlight hit, it broke through the trees, I might have a better chance of finding Lucifer and Mason in the day time. I tried to speak through my radio, but still no respond. I walked on the hard-cold ground, I could smell the morning dew which I hate the smell because it smells exactly like animal dung, I don’t really think that animals live here, do they? Things started to race through my mind about how Conner is dead, and how the leader looked exactly like Rowan, I’m still not sure that he is dead or not, because I sliced his throat, but I’m still going to find out who our leader is, I guarantee it that I will find out who he is, and if he is alive or not.I walked for hours which felt like many days, my legs were struggling to stay up, my back hurts from my sniper rifle laying on it. I tried to speak through my radio again but still no response, I grabbed my knife which was a Karambit it is used in special forces in Canada, it is a Single, double or triple edged, crescent curve. It is a good knife; it could cut through anything.
I went over to the nearest tree and carved my name into it just in case if they were here. My weary legs gave out on me, I tried to get up, but my legs wouldn’t bung, not even a little bit, instead I just looked up at the sky and the dark started to fill the sky. My eyes felt heavy and I wanted to sleep but I just couldn’t stop thinking about how Conner did that he had guts to do that, even though I wouldn’t be able to do that. My eyes finally gave out on me and I fell into a deep sleep.
I woke up from something, I slowly rose, and I realized that I was in a dark room. How did I get here? I saw a figure standing over someone, but I couldn’t make out the figure, when I looked down, I saw Conner. I thought Conner died in the plane crash when it blew up? I suddenly realized that when the guy looked back at me, he had a scar that traveled down his forehead to his cheek. I suddenly realized that it was a guy, and he had the same scar as the leader and Rowan. Wait no that is Rowan! I swore that I killed him, but now he’s back, and he probably sent out soldiers to look for me.
I looked at his neck and I saw a huge gash from where I sliced his throat, he looked at me and smiled. “Well Jeff look at you, all Hero like. Well I’m about to change that. I was alive but after you dragged your knife across my neck, I faked my death after you did that.” He looked back at Conner and a dangerous smile crept up his face. He got something out from his pocket, and he got another thing out from his pocket. When I heard a click of it, I realized that it was a gun, well a Browning Hi-Power. Those types are dangerous, they were used in World War 2.
He held it in his hand while examining it. He looked at me then at Conner. “Who should I kill first?” When I was about to go after Rowan, I didn’t realize that I was tied up in a chair. I looked up at Rowan and he laughed. “I should kill your friend here.” He pointed the gun towards Conner’s head, he looked at me and said. “It will be a shame if your father was here to see this, but I was the one who killed him, and now it’s your friend’s time to die.” He looked at Conner with deadly eyes, “say your prayers boy.”
He pulled the trigger and I saw blood splattered on the wall behind him. Conner’s head fell. Rowan walked over to him and he grabbed Conner’s hair, and picked up his head and when I looked at his head, I saw his forehead which now has a hole there now. My tears started to build up, but I mostly had anger, I could feel my face getting hot. I looked at Rowan and said angrily. “You are going to pay for this!” He chuckled. “That’s what you said last time.” He laughed dangerously, and now he pointed the gun towards me now, he pointed the gun at my head, then he leaned down to face me, and he said quietly. “I’ll see you in the real world.” He laughed dangerously, and he looked at me with stone cold eyes. “Just remember Jeff, that I killed your father, and-” he paused for a moment, and said. “I have your friends.” Before I could say anything, he pulled the trigger of the gun, and I woke up quickly.
