𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐌𝐄 and interrupts the dream of my mother and father dying in a plane crash. I go to the funeral and I don't cry. What a shocker.
I awake to a tall boy with a nice jawline and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen standing in the aisle beside me. Seriously, his eyes the sky on a good day, a nice summer day at the pool. "We've landed," he smiles. He has a cute little tooth gap.
"Oh ... sorry. I'm a deep sleeper," I apologize. After standing up, I begin to reach for my suitcases when I come to realize they're already to my side. I look up to see the boy blushing, "Sorry, thought you might want some help..."
I shake my head, "Um, no, no, don't apologize. Thank you, actually," I breathe out. It's baffling that someone this attractive is being so nice to me.
Does he know who I am or something?
That doesn't make any sense, idiot.
He gestures to the line of people waiting to exit the plane. "After you," he speaks politely. He has a soft kind of voice that could lull you to sleep. I smile at him and grab my suitcases, nervously walking off the airplane and into the airport. I'm immediately hit with cold wind and shiver, considering LAX is much warmer due to the weather on the west coast.
When I find a seat at the airport, I'm about to sit down when I feel a sudden tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see the cute brunette who woke me up. He smiles again, "I'm Daniel. Seavey," he says shyly, extending his hand out.
I shake it hesitantly, "I'm Renee Graham."
We both sit down, "So..." he trails off, red blush covering his cheeks, "are you here for college?" he asks to make light conversation.
I nod, "Yeah, I'm going to Paragon. What about you?"
He has a big smile immediately, "Me too! Wow...what a coincidence."
I agree, "You're right. That is kind of weird. So you're into music then?" I ask. It's sort of a stupid question considering the school is performing arts, but, I don't know, maybe he's a dancer.
I mentally facepalm, embarrassed at every little thing. He smiles.
Damn, he's always smiling.
"Since forever. I want to make music for people, describe different emotions through song," he explains, looking down at the arms of our connected chairs, grinning to himself.
