Even though she is said to have "everything," Ahn Jeong-sae feels that there's a missing piece of the puzzle. She starts to suspect that her father, Ahn Kyung-min is hiding something or someone from her. Determined to crack the alleged mystery, she questions her father. Her father told her that the life she is living right now is the dream of a million. After hearing this line, she is certain that her father is really hiding something.
After the interrogation, she returns to the Callistal Estate which is the primary residence of the Ahn family. Upon arrival, she sincerely asks Kwon Hae-sun (권해선), one of the chambermaids to help her in cleaning the mansion's attic. While doing so, something catches Jeong-sae's eye. This is a torn photograph which seems to be a family pictorial of her generation. The picture bares a little Jeong-sae, her father, and a body without a head. After looking at this picture, she immediately tasks Hae-sun to call Han Ryeo-sung (한려성), the head chambermaid for some chitchat.
Before everything else, Ms. Han asks Jeong-sae if they could talk about the picture somewhere private. Still committed to knowing what's right, she agrees to the plan. They decide to have a cup of joe at the Bourbon Café in the isolated part of Myeongdong (명동). During their conversation, Ms. Han tells her that she never met her mother ever since. She also reminds Jeong-sae that she must keep this a secret from everyone else including his father (even though he already knows) so that he won't suspect a thing about the latter. Jeong-sae thanks her for her loyalty.
Meanwhile, after accompanying Ms. Han back to the mansion, Ahn Jeong-sae receives a call from her father. What does he need to know right now?
