Chapter two; Burning through the sky

Odessas pov

As i entered the murky depths of the halls, i heard faint whispers.
Not the horror movie kind of whispers..The scratchy voiced whispers,that had weirdly a familiar voice.

I chewed at one corner of my lip as i walked,my boots patted against the cold concrete floors. My now beached curls bounced around, scaring me every so often, as i thought they were somebody moving.

There was a sudden feeling of fear as i entered a deep dark hallway,my heartbeat was fast and soft.

The room got slightly cold,i gulped as i continued walking hesitantly. My bag jingled as i stopped at a halt,observing my surroundings. Making sure there was nobody there,there should only be Josh here..

I walked for quite some time before i came across a camera along with two locked doors.
My eyes trailed towards the lock,i thought for a while before i brought my boot to the door. Pain shot up my foot,i hissed as a probable look of pain sketched onto my features.

I tried ramming into the door but it opened,sending me flying into a wall.

"Fuck!!." I hissed loudly,i saw it was a curvy hallway.

I walked towards a door that looked slightly broken, i heard shattering and shrieking.

I rammed into the door and saw Chris fighting with a masked person, Ashley was cowering.

I saw a book and picked it up, the man threw Chris into the floor.

I threw the book at him,he groaned.

"Damn it.." He said,his voice was deepened by some type of filter.

I was now worried about Josh,

Ashley punched the psycho,
the psycho said something before punching Ashley back.

I trembled into a table,my skirt got caught. He turned to me,i pulled the metal screw out of my skirt and dodged him.

He blocked me when i tried to go to Ashley, I screamed when he grabbed me.

I kicked and i fought but he wouldnt put me down,he was trying to put something on my face.

My screams got shriller,

"Stop squirming." He said calmly, i wiggled out of his grip and made a b line towards Ashley.

I shook her but she was unconscious,

"Get up!!" I said,i ran to the door to find it was locked.

He ran to me and put the white rag over my mouth, I saw Chris slowly moving behind him.

I felt myself get tired,it got darker and blurry. I felt my body go limp.

I woke up with something tightly plastered to my mouth,i could only open my eyes halfway.

Because of the harsh light stinging my eyes above my head,i could make out one person infront of me.

It was Chris, he looked like he was stressed.

I realized my hands were untied so i pulled the tape off of my mouth,i got up from my chair and ran to Chris.

"What happened-" I was about to explode with questions,

"Wheres Ashley?" I ask him,still in shock after i was chloroformed.

I was very worried about Josh,i felt my heartbeat getting faster as a voice played.

We both heard Ashley crying,

"CHRIS! ODESSA IM RIGHT HERE!!" She screamed loudly from behind us,as a light flickered.

My heart dropped as i saw Josh with his hands tied above his head,a pained look on his face.

"Choose between Ashley- Or Josh. Kill one of them before i choose to,you have ten seconds." The voice said before vanishing,

no,no,no

"Chris dont.." I said as he looked at the lever then Ashley,

"I cant think straight!" Chris said,

"Josh its okay!!" I screamed, i knew Chris was gonna choose Ashley so i rammed into the metal fence.

As the blade started whirring, i kicked at it hard.

"JOSHH!!" "ASHLEY!!"
Chris pulled the lever towards Josh,the blade moved in his direction.

"NO" I yelled as it cut into his torso,dismembering him from his legs.

He cried in agony as it cut him,

Chris was calming Ashley,telling her not to look.

I was in utter shock,i couldnt move.

Chris pulled me away and hugged me tightly,tears streamed down from my cheeks as i rethought about what happened.

Josh is dead.
