I had to leave the party and I rushed to my mother's place with my manager. And even Jenny is unaware about this.

I was shocked to find the whole place a mess. And the caretaker was hurt and she was bleeding.

"Oh shit." I cursed as I ran towards her and we both carried her to my car to take her to the hospital.

She has become unconscious, now it has happened for real. Thank god, Jenny had brought my mother over there before something bad could have happened.

She has saved my life indeed! I mean my mother.

After she was given first aid, we spoke to her. "Don't worry." The manager said to her smiling with assurance and I think probably these guys are something.

He was so worried and was running here and there whenever the doctors called for assistance.

"Don't worry; she has not got into coma." I said staring at him.

"Huh, sir. Don't you even care the least?" he asked. "I do, but is there something that I don't know?" I asked him.

"Sir, umm she's my girl." He said.

"What?" I asked and that was a huge surprise than my birthday one.

"Yes." He said looking down.

"I thought we were friends, from when?" I asked curiously.

"It all started online and I didn't know we both would end up being this close and haven't spoken to each other much. I haven't confessed my love yet." He said reminiscing.

"Whoa, that's good. But weren't you saying you were a bachelor?" I asked him.

"Yes not after she entered my life." He said romantically. I wished him good luck. I left him to take good care of her.

I feel happy for them.

Next day...

Until all things are set right I asked my mother to stay with us as Jenny assured to take care of her.

"What about the caretaker then?" I asked winking at my manager as he blushed.

"We can help her to find a job elsewhere." My mother suggested and that broke my manager's heart.

"Umm no need, she's needed here." I said and everyone was confused at my words.

"Ah I mean she can assist my manager in our company, I have taken a look at her educational qualifications. She's good." I said.

I could see my manager smiling with his 32 teeth shown out.

"Enough smiling, let's go." I said pulling him out.

"Thank you so much sir." He said smiling again like that.

"No mention man, good luck and she is qualified indeed or else this wouldn't happen." I said.

"Yes, she's doing care taking job as part time." He said smiling for which I said, "Already started studying her?"

He laughed. That's right nah, if would have followed the books like that we would have shined much more.

Next day...

I got a call and they claimed to be from award committee and they asked me to join them in the awards for successful business men show.

"Umm I am a bit busy with our new project..." I thought to deny it as I had to continue our project; it's been a long break though.

"Sir, please we want you to join us. It's our humble request, please." They were literally pleading then I felt bad.

"Fine" I agreed and then I got another call from another award show. Why all these all of a sudden? Whatever.

I asked Jenny to join me. But she said she will stay back with mother. I am feeling like a kid who cries to go to school and I am being pushed out of my home.
