"I left yesterday night to buy medicine for mother, and I lied to doctor because mother would feel bad s if it's her fault troubling me. I hope the receptionist has done a great job by telling this to you, any more doubts?

I was dumbfounded.

"Fine." I said.

I must return soon as possible to my office now. I said a bye to her as I kissed her on her forehead. I then drove back to my office. I parked my car in the lot and rushed towards my cabin. I saw only my manager and Irene? What is she doing here?

"Manager, I called him out." As he turned suddenly, maybe he didn't expect me or what.

"Sir..." he blabbered as he got tensed. Why is he like that?

"Umm, where is the repair guy?" I asked.

"I paid him and sent him earlier, work is done sir. Don't worry... everything is alright." He said.

After hearing it, I felt somewhat okay.

"Irene? You joined too early?" I asked her for which she too blabbered something, what's up with these guys?

"Maybe did I interrupt something?" I asked staring at the two for which both replied quickly, "no."

"Sir..." he spoke up but I cut him off, "Just wait, and let's have a drink first." I said. We drank our drink and then I relaxed adjusting my tie and loosening my collar.

"Now... let's get to the point" I said deepening my voice and getting closer to him.

"Why did you damage the CCTV?" I asked him which made him shiver. "Acting smart enough?" I asked staring coldly.
