Jungkook's POV:

"Will she be okay?" I asked to my manager who stood nearby staring at me.

"What?" I asked him confusedly. "Err nothing sir but you are too much worrying about her." He said.

"Uh oh, won't you stop saying so. You would also do the same in my place." I said staring at him back. "Never sir, first of all I wouldn't dream to be in your place." He said. "Oh, what a great flatterer you make?!" I said with a laugh.

"And secondly if at all it happens in my dream I wouldn't have saved her when having a very important meeting." He said with a smile.

I don't know what to answer him now. Still the meeting is a loss, it has affected our relationship but I felt the happiness of saving a life. And I know the value of it.

Nothing came so easily to me in my life; I had suffered a lot in my childhood.

My father was a businessman but I saw him lay dead in front of my eyes. He couldn't take it to his heart that he's loser, as the world called him so. He committed suicide. And then I wanted to become one of the best businesses and prove to the world achieving my father's dream.

My mother never wanted me to become a businessman as she knew how cruel the world is. But I couldn't crush my dream so easily that was when I left her.

Now, I don't have much contact with her. But I always ask about her well being to the caretaker I appointed. She doesn't speak to me because I am doing what she doesn't want me to do. But she surely knows that I still am her child who always loves her the most.

"Sir?" my manager called me out awakening me from deep thoughts. "I am sorry, I was just zoned out." I laughed.

"What about her? Don't you want to know?" he asked me with a wink.

"Yes, yes" I said. He gave me the hospital number and asked me to call and inquire about her. I did so.

"Sir, that patient? Oof she left already." The receptionist said.

"What? Isn't she supposed to leave today? And is there something bothering you about her?" I asked her quickly.

"She is alright and wished to leave, so she did. Yes, sir. She was continuously asking about you. We couldn't control her and we had to make her unconscious." She said sadly.

"..." I suddenly hanged up the called thanking her for the details.

I looked at my manger and he said "You shouldn't have hid it."

"I had to unfortunately." I said. I am now getting more worried.
