Yoongi's POV

"Thank you for contributing as a test dummy! I promise you'll feel nothing but pain...."

As I saw the event unfold before my eyes, Taehyung had just cut the rope off himself in the corner of my sight. We had our hands behind our backs, trying to trick the two from thinking we were still tied. It was difficult for myself, my body urged to just spring into action while my mind said otherwise. It was painful to stay still, my ass was beginning to numb as the concrete didn't help.

I observed the room more closely, inspecting every object and exits there were. I had noticed before that we were somewhere at the top floor, perhaps still in the same building as earlier when Jin, Hoseok and I got ambushed. It wasn't that much big, with the space mostly occupied with boxes and other broken objects lying around. It was perfect for those who didn't want their victims to escape so easily. However as I closely looked at the corner, it seemed as there were barrels there - wait are those explosive?! Might as well just blow up here and end it all.

There was only about two light bulbs that worked, with the rest dead, resulting a dimmed room. It explained how that in some areas you couldn't properly see figures nor shadows. I could only imagine how many more people were brought in as victims or part of the scientists. For all I know we were being watched the whole time.

"What benefits you by doing this?" Namjoon suddenly spoke up, his voice calm and collected despite the situation we were in. He tilted his head to the side slightly, giving the impression that he wasn't in the mood for games. His eyes widen a bit, a habit of his when he was in a serious conversation.

Soyi didn't answer, her body froze in thought. A big mistake she made. This gave us an opening, a surprise attack that none of them would've guessed.

Still sitting, I felt Jimin jump from his spot and launched himself forward. He pinned the girl down, her hands pinned and out of the syringe's grasp. The six of us stayed put, standing up slowly. We couldn't screw this up now, especially when we know the reason the outbreak happened. Everyone in this room was somehow involved, and none of us were innocent.

"If you wanted me so badly you could've just said so," I heard Soyi say, her smirk making me scrunch my face in disgust as she was still being pinned down. I saw Jimin do the same, annoyed and disturbed at what she had said to him. I get why Jin hated her the first time he saw a glimpse of her. She was pure frustration.

I heard a grunt followed by a thump afterwards, turning my head to the side just to see Eunseo breaking free from Dr. Lee. She didn't waste time to run towards her brother, which was in a state where he could be dead anytime soon. He was pretty beat up badly, I wonder what happened?

A shot interrupted my focus on the two siblings, my eyes darting to find the source of the sound. It troubled me, my body was left stiff and frozen. We were stripped of pur weapons, so we were completely defenseless. One wrong move could result in us all dead. But, didn't Soyi said her father wanted us alive?

"Make one move and I won't hesitate to shoot!" His words were like knives, slick and dangerous. He knew something like this were to happen, I could see from his stiff movements and focused eyes. He was high alert, but so were we.

Before he wanted us alive, but now it seemed like he wanted us dead. Make your crazy mind up already! It was so confusing on what he wanted us in the first place. Does he want to keep experimenting? Or does he just want his revenge?

"It seems like I don't need this antidote anymore. All I need is the seven of you," he continued, pointing at me then the others. He was insane, something that I had kept in mind. However for someone to risk all of human race just for something dangerous as this was out of the question. No one knew, not even the government. It seemed as he planned to kill everyone or experiment on the other scientists that had knew or was involved with this project of their's. This also explained how he wanted to get a hold of Junseo's sister; because she was involved in this catastrophe.
