parfait
\pär-ˈfā\

noun : a cold dessert made usually of layers of ice cream, fruit, and syrup with whipped cream on top

the boys were to start working on monday, from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon. since it was a saturday, they decided to shop for a few work clothes to alternate through the week.

"what should we get? the employees generally wore only dark clothes." jackson pointed out, which mark agreed to.

"is that really necessary though? maybe it's just coincidental." jinyoung said, picking out a few lighter shades of blue and grey.

"i dont know, better safe than sorry. mr. kim seems scary. he never smiled at us once.." jackson added.

"he did." mark said.

"when?" jackson and jinyoung were confused as they do not remember the boss doing so.

"when he looks at peach right here," mark clung onto jinyoung. "what do you mean me?"

"don't you see it? i think he's impenetrable until jinyoung comes into the scene. right jackson?" mark had a little smirk on his face, as if plotting something, which jackson notices and nods his head to.

"you guys notice everything that's not even there." jinyoung said, picking out his last piece of clothing and proceeding to the counter. the couple only letting out small chuckles as they had their whole plan figured out in their minds already.

the sound of their alarms resonated throughout their whole apartment. it was currently 7 am, and jinyoung got up to make breakfast while the other two headed to shower.

jinyoung thought of making a quick but filling breakfast since its their first work day and they didnt want to be late. he scrambled six eggs and a few sausages, placing them after on the dining table.

mark and jackson walked out the door, drying their hair with their towels and half-naked wearing only their boxers. "morning peach." jinyoung smiled at them, the two sitting across him.

"i feel like weve graduated but still have to attend university." jackson yawning as he spoke. "we have no choice babe, its not like our parents are gonna support us forever." mark said taking a bite of his breakfast.

jinyoung was watching the two as they cutely bicker with each other, feeling a bit more single even though he got used to it already. his past relationships never lasted long enough, its either the other person got bored first or the other way around. he seems to lose the spark easily and is amazed how the couple in front of him makes things work for the past five years.

"throw those in the dishwash, im gonna take a bath now." jinyoung stated, although the couple not noticing as they were too busy with each other's dicks.

jinyoung used his peach and mango bodywash along with his strawberry-scented shampoo. after showering, he blowdried his hair and parted it near the center. his hair looked a bit tousled as he lighly ruffled the tips of it. jinyoung picked out a collared muted blue buttonup and black trousers. he also wore a black leather belt and left the few buttons of his top undone, although leaving the sleeves up to his wrist. jinyoung wore no tie, but he looked elegant and formal enough to fit in the company. he sprayed a bit of his coco-mint perfume before heading out to check out on the couple.

"hey lovebirds, how do i look?" the couple turned around, and immediately their jaws dropped before they could say, "hot."

jinyoung showed off his infamous crinkled smile and his monotonic laugh, "thanks."

jackson and mark were wearing similar sets of clothing, dark grey and black alternates. jackson had his top done like jinyoung's and mark wore a tie neatly rested on his neck.

the boys headed out to ride mark's car, as he was the first one to get his license out of the three. it was just a five minute drive from their apartment to the company building. they couldve just walked, but they werent risking to be late on their first day.

"good morning, mr. im." the three greeted, earning the attention of the guy who was wearing a white button up. see? light clothes are allowed, jinyoung thought.

"it's jaebum for you guys, no need for formality." he smiled a little, asking the guys if they needed him to guide him to the office, which the three declined as they carefully remembered everything that's been talked about last saturday.

"alright, i'll come up to join you guys later, i'll just wait for youngjae to arrive." the three agreed and proceeded to the elevator. to be honest, they didn't know what to expect for their first day. especially jinyoung, who was going to have to work separately from the couple.

"jinyoung, text us if you need something, or just come down to the 14th okay?" mark said before getting off the lift on the 14th floor with jackson.

"enjoy guys." jinyoung tried to calm himself before getting off the next floor. walking through the hallways reminded him of the fifty shades of grey trilogy, as his boss was just as intimidating as the one in the movie. he reached the big wooden door, knocking three times before he heard a faint 'come in'.

jinyoung opened the door confidently, walking in front of yugyeom, "good morning mr. kim."

the boss stopped writing and inhaled deeply before glancing up to look at jinyoung. his eyes immediately met with his, and soon after running down to his neck and stopping at his chest.

'oh fuck' jinyoung thought, as he remembered having left his top buttons undone. yugyeom smirked and mumbled a quick 'morning' before continuing with his work. jinyoung then hurriedly walked to his table near his boss', trying to calm his senses down. he is not sure whether it was just him or there is quite a tension between him and yugyeom, though he is also not quite sure what kind of tension that is.

jinyoung started to check the pile of work in front of him, smiling at himself as he still clearly remembers how to do these paperworks. he started drafting the first case, instantly finding the inconsistencies with it along with a little research on his laptop.

on the other hand, yugyeom couldnt help but to observe the younger. he had just read his résumé earlier, and was a bit surprised when he saw that jinyoung was just 20 years old. hes not even legal to drink alcohol yet hes here working for a big company. yugyeom found this somehow weirdly interesting, and he couldnt help himself but think of the guy every chance he gets. he mustve been easily attracted to him, especially when he saw how the younger reacts to his small gestures and stares. yugyeom knew that jinyoung notices it, but is too passive to point it out to himself, which he plans to take advantage of with the fact that they will be working closely with each other for the next six months.

having formed a plan in mind, yugyeom stood up removing his tie, undoing few buttons of his smokey grey top. jinyoung fixed his eye on the actions of his boss, gulping a few times due to the increasingly heavy atmosphere in the room. yugyeom walked to the younger's table, resting his hips on the side and jinyoung avoiding his gaze. the latter continued to work as if his boss wasn't just casually sitting on his table.

"park jinyoung." yugyeom firmly said. the younger stiffened and felt as if he was breathing in solid air.

"yes, s-sir?" jinyoung responded, earning a side smirk from yugyeom, who was slowly nearing his face to jinyoung. the younger tried to stay calm and watched as yugyeom's face was right in front of his, their warm breaths interlacing with each other. neither of them wanted to blink, carefully observing each others' reactions.

"you smell like a parfait."
