days have passed since the incident, and yugyeom has been acting the same, a tease and then laid back, but the past few days have been very weird.

   yugyeom has been avoiding jinyoung for two days now. the latter didnt exactly know when, where, or why the older stopped being the same, but hes been very passive and floating in the office. jinyoung has been observant, and yugyeoms either working or just staring at the window drinking his whiskey. to add to that, they never really talked about what happened. the two just went to work together and somehow, their auras changed the moment they stepped inside the building. jinyoung never told the boys either, despite them nagging him nonstop when they saw him step out of yugyeoms car that morning.

"this is the last set." jinyoung was cut out of his trance when yugyeom placed a stack of folders on his desk. his gaze was still blank and he immediately turned around after he heard the thud of folders hitting the wood. jinyoung admits, it was disappointing. after all the older said during that night and the morning after, jinyoung didnt expect it would be a one-time thing. though, it actually still didnt sink in to the both of them that theyve actually done something. jinyoung dont even know if it bothers his boss just as much as it does to the younger.

the younger cleared his throat before starting on the first set of files. yugyeoms face was focused on the set of papers on his table. there were three new résumés. jinyoung wanted to ask about them, but decided not to because he wasnt really comfortable after he noticed yugyeom was obviously trying to cut off any relation between them two except a boss-worker one. jinyoung finished his first writing and stood up to hand his boss the folder. he then caught a glimpse of one of the papers on the boss' table, "hwang hyunjin".

feeling a bit surprised someone this young would actually be accepted in the company and thinking hes actually younger than him even. quickly jinyoung turned around to return to his table but stopped when he heard the office telephone ring. the dandy boy went to answer it, his back facing yugyeoms table.

little did jinyoung know that the latters eyes were fixed on him the whole time. its been very hard for him to resist his temptations, and he knows its an asshole move that hes avoiding jinyoung, but he didnt want to make things complicated and decided to forget everything that has happened. even though he knows to himself that he cannot. not soon.

"yeoboseyo?" jinyoung answered the phone. it was jaebum. jaebum told jinyoung another new employee was coming in today, so he asked the latter to assist him because the older had to run errands for yugyeom.

"yeah, of course no problem.. is he, by any chance, hwang hyunjin?" jinyoung whispered through the phone, although yugyeom still clearly heard it as it was very silent in the office.

"yeah, how did you know?" jaebum answered on the other line.

"oh. w-well, it doesnt matter.. what time is he coming in?" jinyoung glanced back and caught yugyeom just about to avoid gazes with him. this made the youngers brows furrow, but was cut off when jaebum spoke through the phone, "hey jinyoung, come down to the third floor. hes waiting in the conference room. thanks dude, gotta go."
