the guys stayed in a small conference room while waiting for their contracts. the four newbies sat together in front of yugyeom and jaebum, the younger facing jinyoung.

after a while, a tall, slim and sophisticated looking guy entered the room with grey envelopes in hand. he was styled in the similar dark outfit jaebum and yugyeom was dressed in, with dangling silver earrings on both lobes and a few cartilage hoops on his left ear. he sat on the other side of yugyeom, the four guys getting a glimpse of his doll-like appearance from up close.

"thank you, bambam." jaebum briefly said, distributing the envelopes to each of the guys. each envelope had each of their names on it, embossed in silver ink at the upmost left.

immediately the guys opened them to takeout the papers they needed to sign. as they read through them, bambam and jaebum took turns explaining the terms and conditions under the contract.

jaebum started with explaining the general terms included in their 3-year-contract. "as you all know, the company is experiencing a crisis with the fact that its competitor, viper group of companies, has been expanding widely throughout different cities in south korea. this led to the decline of our company's sales and income, which has never happened before. we were forced to do urgent hirings due to the lack of manpower in the company. some of our top employees quit for good, and are rumored to have been employed by viper instead." the four nodded slowly, trying to comprehend everything jaebum was spitting out. "more than 200 applicants tried to get in the company, but only the four of you passed the company's standards, even without having any work experience before. you will be under observation for the first six months youll be working here, specifically supervised by mr. kim." yugyeom shifted in his seat, quietly staring at the boys with no emotion in his eyes.

"mr. tuan and mr. wang, you two will be working under the accounting wing, 14th floor, silver room. i will be working with you, and you will have to work two extra hours for your first six months to serve as your training." bambam spoke with a deep, monotonic voice.

"same goes for you mr. park and mr. choi, however, you two will be working together with mr. im here and mr. kim in the finance department. the four of you have been assigned vital roles in the company. you are expected to perform at the best of your abilities to maximize our profits. any suggestions and proposals are to be accepted, if and only if its beneficial to the company."

"alright, your contract runs for three years. a total salary of one and a half million won on the tenth and twenty-fifth of every month, with inclusions of insurances and welfare incentives. you will also be provided company devices which are all linked to our databases. day-offs are on sundays. any more questions?" jaebum finished, the boys scanning through the pages one last time.

"it says here that we are required to go on business trips if work calls, do we pay for our own fees?" jackson asked.

"no, mr. wang. the company will shoulder all expenses as long as it is work-related." bambam answered him.

"are we all set?" jaebum inquired, seeing the boys sign off every page of the contract.

"take note that you four are not regular employees of this company. the seven of us will especially work hand in hand for the betterment of our company. i expect your full cooperation." yugyeom stood up, offering his hands to the boys as jaebum and bambam stands behind the boss.

firmly gripping the boys' hands, he locked his eyes once again to the boy in front him, jinyoung swearing he saw just a hint of emotion in the boss' eyes before he spoke and turned around to leave the room,

"welcome to my world."
