Act Five; Decisions and Late Night Cuddles

You wake up snuggled close up to Dirk with his arms around you. You look up at him an leaned looks down at you. "Hey beautiful." he said, smiling a bit. You blush and stretch a bit, leaning up and kissing him quickly.

Then his door opens and you hide your face in Dirks chest as his Bro walked in. They talk for a moment, nothing important. Bro then leaves and you look up at him. "Cripes, what time is it?" you ask, blinking. Dirk picked up his phone, checking the time.

"10:35. You should probably text your grandma so she knows where you are babe." He replied,  covering you up a bit more with the blanket that covered the both of you.

You realize that you were shivering. You nod and pull out your phone, sending a quick text to grandma saying you'd be spending the night at Dirks and would just stop by in the morning before school.

Gran didn't know you and Dirk were together. Or that you were gay. You hadn't talked about it with Dirk and didn't really want to? You  have thought about it though..

You sigh at the thought and hide your face in the crook of Dirk's neck. "What's wrong Jakey?" Dirk asked, petting your hair. "It's just- I haven't exactly come out of the closet to Gran yet and.." You trail off. "Oh.., well do you want to tell her?" He asked queitly, not wanting to upset you.

You look up at Dirk "..Could we tell her together..?". He nodded "Course we can..heh.". "What was the 'heh' all about?" you ask, raising a brow.

"Oh, remember when we first met in person?" He said. Of course you did;

You hadn't always lived in Texas.

You and Gran lived on a island, alone. And you didn't get much contact with others before a two years ago, and of course Dirk was keen on picking you up from the airport.

You cried when you saw him. And he actually smiled for you, not a smirk, but a true smile.

That's when you realized you loved him. And you'll never stop loving him.
