Prom? (A DirkJake Fanfiction)

Act Two; Prom.

You sat alone at a table, you didn't really know why you were even here. You didn't have a date, and couldn't really dance. You were wearing a simple black tux and a green bowtie that Kanaya made you. You watch everyone laughing and he sighed "Ugh". When Dirk walked in, he searched for you "Hey man. Where's your date?" He asked. "Oh, Didn't ask anyone" you reply looking at the Blonde.

 "Oh. Well, me neither" Dirk replied,sitting down next to you. "Welcome to the club eh?" You comment. Dirk laughed "Yeah, man. Looks like its you and me waiting it out". " Waiting for the-oh my! Wait. Hold on a diddlydarn minute. Did Dave ask John to prom??" You exclaim looking at the two dancing. "Yeah. I'm happy for the lil' man" Dirk replied. "Awww that's so cute!" You look at Dirk and smile at him. The blonde smiled back, "Yeah, I had to bust his ass about it until he finally asked him". "I'm glad he asked him. Why didn't you ask anyone, Dirk?"  You ask. Dirk shrugged, " To tell you the truth, I was too much of a pussy to ask the person I wanted to take". "Same here, I was actually going to ask someone, but I didn't..." You said. "Who'd you think about asking, Jake?".  You look away and mumbled "Y-You". Dirk got closer "Who?".

 "You".

 You looked away and get up "Well i'm off to get a drink!" you quickly head over to the drink table. Dirk jumped up and walked after you. You didn't really get a drink, just needed to walk away. When you turned around and bumped into Dirk and jumped. "........" You bit your lip. "That's strange...Cause I was thinking of asking you too" Dirk put a hand on your shoulder. You blush lightly "R-Really?".  Dirk smiled weakly "Yeah. Didn't think you'd want to, actually". You grin "Of course I would!".  "Well its nice to know that now" he smiled. "I'll still go with you if you'd like Dirk" you say, your face red. "Well. Yeah, why not?" he put his arm around your shoulder. You leaned in against Dirk's side. "Dance with me?" Dirk asked smiling, leading you to the dance floor pulling you close and swaying in rhythm with the music. You wrap your arms around Dirk  "Watch your feet, i'm not the best dancer". Dirk looked down at your feet "You're okay". He smiles and puts a hand on the small of Jake's back, closing his eyes lightly. " I love you Dirk" You say in his ear, resting your on Dirk shoulder.

 Dirk pet your hair "I love you too Jake" he swayed with the music and pulled you close. You looked up at Dirk then kissing him lightly. The blonde blushed lightly and kissed you back. Pulled away and giggled quietly. Dirk smiles and looks at you "You're adorable". "Heh, am not" You say. "Yes you are. You can't deny it."  Dirk countered. "Ugh. I can but it doesn't mean i'm correct." You say into his neck. "Exactly. So you can't argue with it" he pulls his shades down for a second and winks at you. You giggle and blush red. Dirk smirks and kisses you again softly.

 You kissed him back. Then, Roxy shows up, putting her arms on your shoulders "Yoo, Get a room". She then walked off.  "Oh my god..Heh" You say, laughing. Dirk watches her walk back and shakes his head "Oh, Lalonde. Ha". You start giggling and muzzle Dirk's chest. He looks down and smiles at him, laughing along and dancing a little slower. "Were such dorks.." You note. "Yeah. I have to agree." He whispered to you quietly  "I'm really glad you noticed me Senpai" You say looking up at him. "Oh my god Jake, you make my Jakoro go Dirki Dirki~" He smiled.  "Watashi wa, anata o aishite imasu, Dirk." You say biting your lip. "Love you too, Jake." You're glad he understood you. You smile and giggle, and blush fifty shades of red. "You're my fifty shades of babe" Dirk whispered in your ear he laughs and pulls him close, tangling his feet in yours. You rest your head on his shoulder again, nuzzling his neck. Dirk then moves his feet, dancing again. "Come with me, my love, to the sea, the sea of love I wanna tell you. How much,  I love you..." Dirk sung to you, you smiled and rest your head on his shoulder again.

 You hum to the music, turning your head to see Dave and John kissing "Aww look dirk!". "Hmm?" he looks over at them "That's fucking adorable.". Dave looks over to you two, john hugging him and gives us a shut the fuck up look, but Dirk gives him a thumbs up. Dave looks at you and does a thumbs up, going back to John. You lean in and kiss Dirk sweetly. He kisses back and the whispers to you "I love you so much, Jake.". "I love you too, more than I can physically express." you say back. Dirk nodded "Same." he smiles and dances along. You reach a hand up and fix your hair. But, Dirk decides to mess  with it, teasing you.

 "Ugh." you mumble. Your date laughed and helped fix it "There." he looked at you and smiled "Your hair looks kawaii Jake.". You blush and giggle "Thanks......MY KOKORO" . "Goes Dirki Dirki" He added with a smile. You then hear "Dont drop that tha tha tha ey!" in the background. "Don't drop my dirk-a-dirk eeyy~!" You laugh. Dirk smiled at you "Ha, good one.". You blinked and blushed "You got that ass though". "What? Pfft. Fuck yeah I do." He laughed. Dirk then smirked "Your ass ain't bad either Mr. English.".  You smile, "Well yeah, I wear those booty shorts" . The blonde rolled his eyes and smiled "Don't get me started on those... Hey, Jake?". "Hm?" you reply, looking up at him.  "Are.. you hungry?" his stomach growls as he looks at the snack stand. "Yeah a little. C'mon" You lead Dirk away to the food. He smiled and followed you. You pick up a random whatever. You look over at Dirk as he was filling a plate. You walk back to a empty table in the corner and sit down. Dirk followed and sat, beginning to eat. You hE RA glance at him and smile "Don't choke Strider.". He slowed down and said "Sorry I'm starving".   "I don't mind! Just don't want you to suffocate. Unless its from my sexiness." You joke with a wink.

 Dirk rolls his eyes and laughs. You soon finished your snack and you wait for Dirk. He then finishes and gets up, throwing his plate away. You take this time to check out Dirk's plush rump. He then looks back at you "Whatcha lookin' at?".  Your eyes widen and you blush  "NOTHING!!"  You hide your face. He laughs "More like checking out my 'backside'?". "NOPE!" You say, giggling. Dirk smirked "Uh-Huh suure.".  "Hehehe" You look up and bite your lip. Dirk smirked and he walks back to you backwards. "You dork" you say and he sits down. "Look who's talkin'." He replied.  "Well switch the 'i' with and 'o' and vola! Dork Strider." you say blinking. Dirk looked at you, unamused. "Great observation.". "Yes it is!" You say smiling, leaning over to kiss him. Dirk hummed a little and kissed back. "But your my dork and i love you." You say, looking at him. "And your my Jake and I love you." He replied. You grin and  search of Jane and Roxy "Where do you think Jane and Roxy went? I can't spot them. Dirk stands up  a little "Yeah they're over there.".  "Oh okay! Just making sure Roxy wasn't on the floor again." You reply. Dirk looks over again, "You spoke too soon. Jane helped her up though.". You laugh a little "It's kinda sad seeing her fall in her shoes though." you say, looking at him. "Yeah. But I'm sure she doesn't care much." Dirk added. 

 You smiled a little, Dirk was your best friend, and boyfriend. "Mhm." You agree, shivering a little "Is it cold in here or is it just me?".  Dirk looks at you and hugs you, trying to warm you up "Its cold.". You hug him back "Okay, I'm not going mad then". "Haha, nope." He said, glaring at the group of people that usually bullied you across the room. You shake off the thought "Good.". He nods and pulls you closer. "You're really warm." He mumble, resting your head on his shoulder. "And you're hot." He said, smirking. You blush and hide your face "Heh..thanks.". Dirk rested his head on yours and messed with his shirt uncomfortably. "Uncomfortable?" You ask, looking at him. He nodded "You wanna leave?" He asked. You nod and stand up. He stood up as well and took your hand, you left the building and walked to his car.

 You got in and went back to his apartment, He said you could wear something of his instead of a tuxedo.  When you get back you both change and sit down on the couch. You are sitting between Dirk's legs with your back leaning against his chest. His arms were loosely draped over your waist and a blanket was covering the both of you.

 Soon in the middle of a Doctor Who episode you frown. "What are you going to do in school? What will they say?" You think. You were apparently shaking because Dirk paused the episode and looks at you. "Jake? You're shaking. You okay?" He asked. You looked at him a little dazed and nodded "Yeah I'm fine.".  He raised a brow at you, keeping his arms around you, 

You both decided around 2 A.M you'd just both pass out cuddling on the couch. Your head was rested on Dirk's chest andhis arm was around your waist again.
