Act Six; A Good Day for Everyone.

Today is Wednesday, the middle of the week and Exam day. Of course you have been talking about this with Jake, Roxy an Jane all year. It was exams, then graduation, then college..

Jake just wants to stay in Texas for college, and get a apartment of that you'd share together. You like the idea, just being able to hold him whenever you want is just amazing.

You now sat in the middle of class, working on your final exam of the day. Jake had been stressing all day. One, because of the exams and two, today was the day you two were gonna come out to his Grandma.

You take your time and finish your test with five minutes left of class, you turn it in the walk back to your seat, and just wait for the bell to ring, signaling the end of the day.

You also decided to take Jake out for a date after you both went back to his place, he deserved a little time out and about.

The bell rings and you stand up, looking at Jake and he smiled at you and you follow him out of the room and back to the truck and you both get in, you turn to him and lean over, kissing him sweetly.

He kissed back for a minute and you slowly pulled back a bit. "You sure you wanna tell her Jake?" you ask, not taking your eyes off him.

He nodded "I'm gonna have to sooner or later, I'm just glad you're gonna be with me. I love you Dirk.". You smile, turning to start the car "I love you too Jake.". You pull out of the parking lot and head off for Jake's house.

When you got there Jake got out with his bag quickly, not wanting to back out now. You follow him inside. "Gran I'm home!" Jake called out, setting his bag down at the door.

You did the same and followed him around, looking for his Grandma as you both found her in the kitchen and you leaned up against the counter next to Jake, across the room from Grandma.

"Hello you two." She replied, looking at you both. "Gran could we uhm, talk about some stuff?" Jake said. You just stood there, ready to get Jake out of there if worse came to worse.

Grandma nodded, listening intently. Jake reached for your hand and took it, lacing your fingers together. "I'm..I'm gay and..well Dirk and I-- Gosh I love him." He said, looking at me for a moment before looking back at grandma. She smiled a bit, "I bet you do kiddo, and that's okay with me. As long as I get great grandkids, hah.".

Jake's eyes lit up and you relax. "Well of course Gran." he said, smiling. "And, if you don't mind Ms. English if I take Jake out for awhile, he'll be back before ten, promise." You add, looking at her.

"Go ahead. And be safe you two. I have some work to do, so see you before ten Jake." She said, then leaving the room. Jake laughed and turned to you, wrapping his arms around your neck and kissing you.

You kiss back and wrap your arms around Jake's waist. He pulls back "So what are we doing that needs me back before ten?" He asked, looking at you.

"It's a surprise." You reply, taking one of his hands and leading him outside to your truck again. He gets in and you get in after him. You start up the car once more and head off to your destination.
