I walked into the bathroom, slowly removing my clothing and dropping it to the floor. I grabbed the plastic slippers off the sink, and wrapped some plastic around my left arm. I turned on the water, and glided my feet against the tile floor. The soothing hot water splashed against my body, and my hands ran through my hair. After two days of many showers, my hair was starting becoming silky, and the dirt, blood, and rocks that covered me had vanished. Samantha had taken me to her uncle on Thursday, him being one of the best doctors in Wolver Hampton. Once he saw my injuries, he immediately stitched up my feet and arm. Luckily, Samantha made up some story before I had to tell him about the causes of my injuries. Her uncle also noticed my birthmark, and took quite an interest in it. I looked down at my right arm, and stroked the birthmark with my finger, sketching out its unique design. It really did look just like a Blue Bird, with its wings outstretched soaring high and flying free. I ran my finger over it once more, and then washed out the conditioner that was sitting in my hair.

"Felicity! Hurry up in there! We only have two hours until we have to leave! I'm not even showered yet! Get your arse out of the shower!" I heard Naomi's voice from outside the door as she banged her fist against the door. I quickly turned off the water, and stepped out of the shower. I gasped as the cold air hit my body, sending chills down my spin, and making goose bumps appear on my bear, bruised legs. I grabbed a fluffy towel off the toilet seat, and wrapped it around myself. I picked up my clothes from the floor, and exited from the bathroom, only to be greeted by a very angry Naomi.

"It's about time!" She exclaimed, and then ran into the bathroom, slamming it shut behind her. I made my way over to the room Naomi had given me to stay in. I entered the room, admiring the color of the sea blue walls that Naomi had claimed was the perfect match of my eye color. I tossed my clothes into the hamper, and removed the plastic off my arm and feet. I grabbed the wrap from my dresser, and began to wrap up my feet and arm, making sure to apply light pressure to where the stitches laid. I jumped up a little bit as Luna, Naomi's kitten, ran past my feet and under the dresser. She was such a cute kitten, with sleek black fur, and a white crescent moon shape by her eye. I looked away from where Luna was hiding, and smiled when I noticed Naomi had laid out a pair of my new clothes for me, but frowned as I noticed this was not the right style that would cover up my bruises and cuts that covered my legs, arms, and back. I knew that there was no arguing with her, I had already made her angry with my long shower. I pulled on the short jean shorts she had laid out for me with one hand, and then pulled on the blue blouse. It was a very cute outfit, but made me feel very insecure with all my bruises and cuts being exposed.

"Knock Knock." I heard Naomi's voice as she gently knocked on the door.

"You can come in." I stated as I looked in the mirror. I sighed at the reflection I saw. An abused, broken, weak, ugly girl. I noticed Naomi's figure was standing next to me, and I stared in awe and jealousy as I admired her beauty. Her long wavy brown hair fell gracefully around her face, and her eyes were glowing their brilliant bright blue color. She had on a white loose shirt that said directioner on it, and a pair of bright blue shorts to match.

"You look beautiful." We stated at the same time.

"Now it's time to make you look drop dead gorgeous." Naomi said with a giggle. I gulped as she began to lead me towards the bathroom, obviously being careful not to hurt me. Those next thirty minutes were torture as Naomi dried my hair, and went through her process of styling it. But the worse part was the makeup.

"Done." Naomi stated with a ginormous smile. I turned to look in the mirror, and smiled when I noticed she only applied a little makeup to my face, most of it being cover up to cover the bruises that scattered across my forehead and cheek. Naomi had left my long wavy hair down, but braided some of it to the side.
