Felicity P.O.V.
He stood there, staring at me with a blank expression. His eyes showed many emotions, a mixture of confusion, surprise, hope, sadness, longing, and anger. I couldn't tell what he was thinking, his eyes were the only hint to what was going through his mind. I looked at him with pleading eyes, waiting for some kind of answer to escape from his lips. The room around us was silent, no one dared to speak a word. I felt my legs trembling as I stared at my brother, my ears yearning for him to say that he believed me. I wanted to run to him, embrace him in a hug. I wanted to meet the rest of my family. I wanted to have the life I was meant to have.
Suddenly, he seemed to break from his trance. A glimmer of hope sparked into my eyes, and I crossed my finger for the best of luck. But his expression was the complete opposite of what I was looking for. I watched as his eyes filled with fury, and tears fell from them, descending down upon his cheeks. He looked at me, and I watched as something inside of him snapped.
"What, do you think it would be funny? Coming here and trying to claim to be the sister I lost? Is this some kind of joke! She could be dead for all I know! Do you understand what it's like? I didn't get to grow up with her, let alone tease her and protect her! She's gone! Gone!" Liam yelled, then stopped for a second, trying to control the anger bubbling inside of him. "We've lost hope of finding her awhile ago, well at least I have..." Liam said quietly as more tears fell from his eyes. I looked up at him, tears starting to fall from my own eyes as I saw the pain that filled his face. My kidnapping caused them all this pain? I reached out my hand, and caressed his cheek gently.
"Liam, it's me. It really is me, Felicity. It really is me!" I told him, looking into his big chocolate brown eyes, that were glossed over.
"No." Liam breathed.
"I am Liam! It really is me!" I yelled feeling frustrated that he wouldn't believe me.
"You're not her! You can't be! She's dead! The police even said so. We searched thirteen years, and finally believed the facts. She either dead or long gone! She's gone." Liam whispered the last part quietly, his words seeming restrained. He pulled my hand away from him, tears plummeted down his cheeks, his fists balled up.
"Liam! I'm not dead! I'm right here!" I cried. How was I suppose to convince him? How was I suppose to make him believe me? I walked towards him, restraining back the sob that was beginning to make it's way up my throat.
"No! You aren't her! You can't be!" Liam yelled.
"Why? Why don't you believe me?" I asked in a pleading voice.
"Because I know you aren't her!" Liam cried.
"Liam! I spent fifteen years with a family who didn't love me! Fifteen years being physically and verbally abused! Fifteen years of barley even getting a proper meal once a week! I went to sleep every night crying. I've been hurt so much, and filled with so much pain. I've bolted up all that pain, and only hoped for something to make my life better. I haven't had one friend, or at least one I can remember until now. I was never loved, and I never knew about my past let alone the fact I was taken from my family! The night I found out everything, I ran! I need you! This is the truth! My name is Felicity Payne, and I am your sister! But if you won't believe me, I don't know what I'll do."
Liam stared at me for awhile, studying every inch of me through his puffy red eyes. He seemed to be fighting himself about something. He looked as if he felt guilty and afraid. His band members and my friends darted their eyes between us, waiting for someone to say something. Finally, Liam cleared his throat, and looked up at me.
"I'm sorry about your past, Felicity, but your not my sister. As much as I wish she was alive, I know she is not. You look a lot like her, the same hair color she had when she was two, and the same bright blue green eyes as well. But you are not her. I hope you girls enjoy the show." Liam said, his voice cracking as he tried to speak in a serious tone. His expression was blank, and his mouth was drawn into a tight line. I stared at him, not knowing what else to say. He didn't believe me. He never would. What was the point then being here then? What was the point of living? It wasn't like I had a loving family to go back to. I looked down at the floor, watching my tears hit the ground. I didn't know what else to say to him. I was at loss of words.
"What's that on your arm, lass?" I heard an Irish accent ask. I looked up, my eyes clouded with tears, to see a blonde haired, blue eyed boy pointing to my right arm. I followed to where his finger was pointing, my eyes meeting the blue bird shaped birthmark that was on my arm. Everyone began to walked towards me, their eyes focusing on the birthmark on my arm. Liam was the last to look, and his eyes widened at what they saw. He grasped my arm, and looked up at me, his eyes filled with tears. But before he could answer, the security guard that had let us in, entered the room.
"Time to go ladies. The show is about to start." The security guard said as he ushered Naomi, Carter, Samantha, Sofie, and I out of the room. I turned to see Liam starting at me, his mouth dropping to the floor. The boys surrounding his showed the same look. I'm guessing Liam told them about me.
**
Screaming, that was all that filled my ears. The sound of screaming was all that I heard from the thousands of girls that surrounded me, including my own friends. I would've joined in, but I was to scared. Scared of what Liam was thinking. Scared of what would happen if he didn't believe me. Would I go back to the Jones? No. That would mean death.
I looked around at the many people surrounding me, many holding up huge posters they had personally decorated, other supporting the band's merchandise. Trying to chock down my nerves, I tried to enjoy my time at my first concert, and enjoy the first good thing that has happened to me in awhile. I looked at the rows of seats that were filled with fans, all jumping up and down an screaming at the top of their lungs, waiting for the boys to come out and perform. My eyes scanned through the posters they were holding, confused by some of the phrases they had put on.
"Hey. Are you okay?" Sofie asked as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder. I looked at her and gave her a weak smile.
"I'm scared. He didn't believe me, Sofie. What if he bees stubborn and make up something like my birthmark is fake. Then this whole escape will be pointless." I said as I felt a tear slip from my eye. How could I have been so stupid as to think I could just waltz back into my old life? None of them had seen me since I was two.
"Whatever happens, we will be here for you." Naomi said as she smiled at me.
"If worse comes to worse, you'll still e stuck with us." Carter said with a smile as she playfully stuck out her tongue.
"But he will believe you. He's just got to!" Samantha exclaimed. "I mean..."
Before she could continue, the arena erupted into even more screams, as five boys ran onto the stage. I quickly spotted Liam, and took notice to the boys around him. They were all very attractive. I looked down the line, left to right. Beside Liam was the blonde haired, blue eyed boy, who I believed was Irish. Next to him was a tall boy, who's brown locks swept the the side of his face. He had bright blue eyes that seemed to twinkle with mischief, and wore a childish grin upon his face. The boy next to him had black spiked up hair, and deep brown eyes. His toned skin brought out his eyes, and the smirk he held on his gave him a mysterious look. The last boy had chocolate brown curls that framed his head. He had a cheeky smile, dimples showing on his cheeks, and a confident aroma surrounding him. What I took notice to the most was his emerald green eyes. They seemed to transfix me, lure me to just stare at them for ages. Those eyes mesmerized me, and I stood their gaping, not even noticing that the boys had begun singing.
As I snapped back into reality, I was greeted by the sound of angle like voices harmonizing as they sung. I looked in awe as I listened to them sing, very proud of my brother's amazing talent. I screamed and clapped along with the many directioners and danced with Samantha, Carter, Sofie, and Naomi. As the concert came to an end, a man in a black suit, I recognized him as the same security guard from before, came over to me.
"Mr. Payne would like to see you." The security guard said. I followed him with a nervous glance back at the girls, all of them giving me a supportive thumbs up. As he lead me over to the boys, o noticed someone standing with Liam. I gasped as the person turned around, and I got a good look at their face.
