Pagkababa ko sa kotse ni Alyssa sa parking lot, I was greeted by a running Mika waving her hands..

"Denise!" Nakangiti nitong sambit

"Mika? Bakit andito ka?" I immediately heard a car's door opening and closing. Maya maya ay nasa tabi ko na si Alyssa

"Den? Everything's cool?" Tanong ni Alyssa referring to Mika..

"Ah, yes. By the way, Ly, this is Mika. She's from La Salle. Miks, this is Alyssa.."

They both shake each other's hands smiling

"Long time no see, Denise." sabi ni Mika

"Kaya nga eh, how have you been? Nabusy ka na ata sa love life mo" Pabiro kong sabi at napatawa naman si Mika.

"Nako! Kung meron nga lang sana eh, kaso wala" sagot niyang napapakamot sa ulo

Bakit hindi pa umaalis si Alyssa? Looks like she's still waiting for something. I can also sense that Mika is hesitant to whatever she's about to say kasi andito si Alyssa.

Tumawa lang din ako and then faces Alyssa "Thank you so much sa pag hatid, Alyssa. Mag iingat ka sa pag uwi ha?"

Alyssa just smiled and nodded. I hugged her and then umalis na sya..

"So, she's really okay, huh?" Napatingin ako kay Mika. Nakalimutan kong andito pa pala siya sa tabi ko.

I smiled, "I guess. Bumabalik na ang dating Alyssa.. "

Tumango lang siya, "Den, would you like to have dinner with me?"

Nagulat ako sa tanong ni Mika at napatawa.. I was waiting for her to laugh as well but it never came "Wait. Seryoso?"

"Ha? Oo naman. Namiss kaya kita. Dali na. Ikaw pa naman pinunta ko talaga dito. Until what time pasok mo?"

"6:00"

"Edi mabuti. 5:30 matatapos last class ko. I'll pick you up later?"

She's smiling. She DOES really look good. Ang cute ng ngiti niya. How can I even say no to that face?

"Okay" I smiled

"Okay?" Mukhang nagulat pa siya sa sagot ko

"Okay" I smiled and repeated.

"Really. Just pick one, Denise" Nagddrive si Mika to nowhere kasi ako pa talaga pinapapili niya kung saan kami kakain.

"Mika! You asked me out. I thought you figured this out already" I laughed

Tumawa din siya "I hate to break this to you, pero I suck at this. So pumili ka nalang at baka mauumagahan tayo dito sa daan"

"Ugh, fine." I gave up "Meron dun malapit sa dorm, they sell the best t-bone steak. Dun nalang?"

"Finally, may destination na tayo" She laughed "Okay, okay"

The whole car ride was all laughter and pag-aasaran. She keeps telling me she missed me. After that text conversation kasi, i don't know what happened but we lost contact. Maybe nabusy na rin sa school.

When we got to the restaurant, I was shocked seeing Alyssa and our other teammates there. I was ready to turn around and leave when Dzi shouted my name.

"Denise!"

I smiled awkwardly when all of their heads shoot towards us. Well, for starters, I really saw Aly's smile fade away.

I looked at Mika at signaled to come with me. She just smiled and nodded

"Hi guys" I smiled and waved to all of them.
