Vincent POV
(Two weeks and a few days previous)
I was walking into my class after they changed my schedule. I walked into my new home room and went to the back of the room and sat down. I looked around there was one other person in the very back of the room. It was a girl with deep brown hair and glasses. She had her hair covering her eyes and a dark grey hood on. She had fair skin and freckles that crossed over her cheeks and nose arch. She looked super shy as she looked down. But i had the slightest feeling that i knew her. I moved over a few seats and looked at her.
Hey my name is Vincent what's yours? She tensed up at the sound of my voice. I noticed it got quiet. I looked up everyone was staring at us. Even the teacher.
H-hi Vincent. And i'm not telling my name. Not yet at least. Everyone gasped.
She spoke!
She never speaks! To him?
Why would she speak to him?
I looked up with murder in my eyes. Everyone instantly shut up and turned around and faced front.
(time skip to lunch)
I walked in to the cafeteria and saw the girl from homeroom sitting alone. I started walking over to her but on the way someone stopped me.
Hey do you mind? I said giving my death glare.
Ehh sorry. The boy let go of me.
Would you mind telling me why you stopped me?
She is the nerdiest girl in school do you really want to go sit by her?
So what if i do?
Well then no one's stopping you but she doesn't talk to anyone not even the teaches she always goes up to the bored and writes her answers.
Have any of you ever thought if she is mute?
Yeah that's what we think but there's a rumor going around that she spoke to someone today in her homeroom.
Damn it! I said under my breath Word gets around this school faster than my old one.
What was that?
Nothing. But if anybody touches her let me know. Spread the word. If anyone touches that girl over there. I said pointing at girl i was about to go sit by. Then i'll personally pound them into the ground.
I left him shaking with fear. I sat down with her and she looked up she still had her hair in front of her face so i couldn't see her eyes. All i saw was the gleam of her glasses. She stayed quiet.
Hey. so are you going to tell me your name?
No.
Do i know you?
Yes.
She looked up for the first time and moved her hair out of her eyes.
I gasped. Y-you're her.
Yes and if you leak anything i'll put a dent in your head. She said so quietly i could barely hear her.
I promise i won't. I'm in the business too remember. But i guess that means that were stuck together for a while huh.
Not if i have anything to say about it newbie. She became quiet again and started to eat.
(after school)
I started flying home but slowed down when i saw Delphie. I landed and started to walk next to her. After a while we were at my house and i was about to turn off into my house but stopped myself and turned around to ask Delphie if she wanted to come inside. But she was already behind me. Since i had the door opened she pushed me inside and closed the door. She turned on the lights and sat down on the couch.
