1st Chapter
It started out like a normal day we got to the state park we got our hiking gear out and started up Mt. devil's cave. we started up the mountain about 7 hours ago and its already getting dark. We found our cabin and laid down for the night then we heard a rustle in the bush's I grab my 12 gauge shot gun and went to go investigate the rustle in the bush's then out of nowhere i see a gigantic,Hideous Grizzly bear on the steps. I slowly started walking back into the house and as soon as i got en i locked the door and got everybody upstairs in the safe room behind the book case. We heard the bear knock down the door and tear up everything that was in the house . He came up in the room we were and he started sniffing.About 2 and a half hours since he had left the room but we have no idea if he had left the cabin or not.We sleep in the safe room for the night and when morning came me and my Friend David grabbed our guns to go check and see if the bear had left the cabin. We left the room an headed down stairs but when we got there we saw the bear asleep in our bedroom.We made a trap so if the bear came out it will buy us some time to get back on the trail and away from the cabin. David went upstairs and got all the others which they went out the back door so it wouldn't wake up the bear. David hurried back in so we can finish up the trap when we got done i threw a lamp at it and that woke up the bear as soon as it came at us the bed broke as we planned to throw the bear of balance. I let go of a rope which triggered a heavy net tied to sand bags which fell and trapped the bear. As soon as we trapped it we ran out the house to meet the others and we were on our way up the trail.
2nd Chapter
We were on our second day of hiking and none of us hardly got any sleep because of the bear. While we were hiking we saw a dead deer hanging in the creek which had what we think is bear tracks heading where we had came from so we hurried up the mountain as fast as we could but we still had several more days of hiking to do. we got to our second cabin around 10:30 that night so we went in and all slept in one room so if any thing happened we were all ready together and right next to the safe room.The next morning we got up and ate breakfast and then up the trail we went. We stopped a couple times for water breaks and 10 minute naps but right in front of us we saw a dead ranger who looks like he's been dead for about 15 minutes according to David. We hike a few more miles then we see in the corner of our eyes the grizzly bear that was in our first cabin We all crouched down into the creek so that we can get the the smell that was attracting the bears to us off. I told every body to sneak into that hole into the wall of gray clay. We needed a way to get rid of the bear for good or he would probably get every one of us.
3rd Chapter
We followed the hole for about 25 minutes until we came to a under water geyser that lead up about 30 minutes up the trail from where we saw the bear.We got out of the geyser carefully and as soon as we got out David fainted so i climbed back down to the geyser and filled a gallon jug full with water and climbed back up the geyser hole and pored some on Davids face and put him under a shade tree and keep on talking to him yo make sure he was still alive. We were only about 15 minutes to the cabin and we had to hurry to the cabin before the bear finds out where were at.When we got to the cabin there was a park ranger waiting on us and ask if everything was OK . I said there a grizzly bear chasing us so now tell me if everything is OK. We ran in the house barricaded all the doors gathered up all the ammunition we could find and we put every body in the safe room except me,David , and the ranger. David drunk some more water and then he had and idea. He pulled out a couple full bottles of whiskey and said get the main floor and all the doors. We barricaded the front door so the bear can come in easily but when the bear comes in we set the cabin on fire and get out of there.
4th Chapter
It took about 5 to 10 minutes for us the to get there.It walk in the house and didn't see me light the piece of shirt hang out of a full whiskey bottle. As soon as i lit I chunked it at the carpet which had been soaked in whiskey and as soon as the bottle busted the carpet was a blaze. We all shot out off the Cabin faster than the flash but David was still inside notable to move well. I ran back into the cabin as soon as i got in David was already starting to crawl out slowly I picked him up and got out of there. After the building collapsed and was barely on fire anymore i went to go make sure the bear was dead. What i saw was the grizzly baby crying over its mama. It looked younger but not by much.It saw me and starting walking toward me. It jumped up on its hind legs and started clawing me but i had a butcher knife in my hand. I took the butcher knife and stabbed the bear in the eye I believed i killed it. We started up the mountain and was about 35 minutes away from the top .
