Chanyeol POV

As soon as I smelled Sehun my protective instincts went on overdrive. Snarling, I ushered Baek and Jinorra into the bedroom before coming back for Hyungwon and Hoseok.

A howl ripped through the air, making my fur stand on end. Where was Mia?

"Shownu call Mia! Now!" I shouted before running out to face the feral Sehun. I have to stall him so Mia can get here on time and we can save him. Luhan needs his mate and so does Sehun, even if he's a feral wolf he still needs his other half.

"Chaneyol?" I turned to stare at the quivering figure of Luhan, his eyes red and puffy. Tilting my head in question I stared. "Please be careful, Baekhyun needs you and so do your friends."

I nodded once before continuing on. I won't let you down Luhan. I'll get your mate back to you.

Changkyun POV
As soon as Chanyeol left, I made sure our friends stayed safe. Curling around Baek, Jinnora, and Hoseok, I stared at the door. Laying behind me was Hyungwon and I made sure he was secured with his bump against my back.

"Kyunnie? I'm scared," I nuzzled against my friends in comfort. A crash echoed throughout the house and my fur stood on end. A knock on the door and I slowly prowled to open it. Mia burst into the room, her snarl echoing around us.

"Where is the other hybrid?" I pointed outside, my heart seemingly in my throat. "Damn it!" With that she burst back down the stairs, howling her challenge.

Mia, bring Chanyeol and Sehun back safe.

Sehun POV

I glared at the panther in front of me. 

I knew him. I knew his mate. But I can't seem to break free of this damn thing that's taken control of my body. It's like I'm locked inside my own brain and I can't get out.

I knew I hurt Luhan. I know I've been sent to hunt him. I shoved against my own mind, trying to regain some sort of control.

I felt my ear twitch.

Damn it! Come on Chan, this isn't me, you know it!

"Leave now Sehun, I won't ask again. I have 2 males that are pregnant right now and I won't risk you hurting them or my mate. Luhan is safe, he misses you. But I won't let you near him like this. Go now before someone gets hurt."

I heard myself snarl and Chanyeol went into a defensive posture. Shit! I'm not as strong as Chanyeol, even in my hybrid form.

A howl pierced the air, sending chills down my spine. It was an ancient howl, a sound of myths. The howl of one of Artemis' own hounds.

A large white wolf bounded out of the trees, heading straight for me. Her aura screamed power and demanded obedience. Even in my current frame of mind I felt myself wanting to submit.

"Oh Sehun, stand down. We can help you if you come with us peacefully." The voice spoke softly, but firmly. Like a mother talking to a wayward son. My guard dropped....

A sharp pain hit my neck and I fell with a whine, my vision blurring and then...

It went dark.

Chanyeol POV (lol again)

I shifted back into my human form, staring at the giant black wolf sadly. As I watched, the sedative turned him back to his human form. Tears pricked my eyes as I watched his prone form. I picked him up and carried him to the house, setting him down gently on the couch.

"Sehun?" I turned to face Luhan, gripping his shoulder in comfort.

"Let Mai do what needs to be done Lu, if we want Sehun back... we gotta let her do her job." He nodded, bolting up the stairs. I sighed and turned to the figure on the couch.

Mia, help Sehun....

I want my best friend back.

With all my heart.
